Has Ted Turner ever officially commented on WCW going under?
I know Ted Turner is basically the image of a professional business man so I doubt he ever went too much in depth with it but I know he watched wrestling as a child and that it had at least some sentimental value to him. Did he ever comment on the WCW/Vince buyout?

I don't think he ever released anything official about his views about the buyout since around the same time the AOL-Time Warner merger was falling apart and costing his company money.

The whole AOL-Time merger gave AOL almost all the power and he lost position and influence in pouring money into the failing WCW. The whole 10-year no-compete clause probably killed any interest he had in wrestling since he couldn't buy TNA or any other small wrestling companies and focused his attention to his cable networks and MLB Atlanta Braves team.

I think he was more bothered at the time that he lost $7billion. I think you'd be hard pressed to find any articles/interviews that reference WCW. I don't know if people have a warped opinion on his love for WCW and wrestling just because he put so much money into it. I don't think I've ever read a Ted Turner article/interview where he even mentions wrestling or WCW. It sometimes seems that, to Turner, WCW was just another programme on on of his networks.

Does he own any networks anymore, I thought he lost control or resigned from most of his positions but I'm not really ITK about American TV.

from what i know apparently ted turner loved his wcw and was quite sad when it was sold as the decision was out of his hands at the time.
