Giving TNA Their Quarterly Chance
Yeah, so I'm going to sit though June 4th's episode of Impact.

Sting’s heel promos feel so corny. Not as corny as the “Why Sting why?” chants from the crowd. This highlight video of Sting's actions is pretty low in quality, looks pretty amateurish. I guess it's effective though...

Watching Bischoff cut a promo, all I can think about is, “Where’s the wrestling?”. Also, Eric trying to be a face isn’t working for me. He’s too much of a hypocrite (kayfabe-wise). Maybe, maybe I’m not supposed to remember how much of a dick he was in WCW?
* Okay, so they start a match with no build-up between Sting and Joe. Joe looks fucking horrible! Before it can even get started Matt Morgan comes into the ring. I'm sure there's a perfectly good reason for this but, I'm just confused and disappointed that Fat Joe and Sting aren't allowed to have an actual match. |

RVD’s “sprint” to the ring looked pretty damn slow. Hey, Bischoff’s back, cluster-fuck. Okay, this was a teaser for the main-event.
… Wait, Hogan’s out here now? What the fuck? … “The whole f’n show is out there.” Um… … All of this to set-up a 4-way? Commercial Break Okay, AJ Styles really sucks as an “actor”, apparently there’s a three-way tonight in addition to the 4-way. Not over-kill at all. … Ric Flair is not trying at all. … Is Ric Flair having sex with Frankie Kazarian? … Knock-outs get a one-on-one match? Great… … Rosie Lottalove gets more solo camera time than Sting did. I may be exaggerating. … Ric Flair is still taking off his shirt? … Jay Lethal’s getting a push. Cool. … I am enjoying this. Wonder if they’ll screw it up. … Turning into a complete comedy match? … I give this match 8 out of 10 sticky keyboards. … Flair looks frighteningly bad. |

Kurt Angle is incredibly over in TNA. Still love the man.
… So Flair’s cutting an okay promo now, except he’s really trying to make the argument that Kurt’s just an “amateur wrestler”??? … Nice bump, Ric! … There’s some good here mixed in with some bad. Where’s the consistency? … Hogan used the words “heel” and “baby face” in a backstage segment. Yeah. … Mr. Anderson has a decent theme song. … I am not getting the whole “asshole” vibe, I don’t hate it but, whatever works for him. I do appreciate the fact that he got a large segment of the TNA crowd to admit that they are in fact assholes. … Jeff Hardy’s theme song is still horrible. Why do they let him do stuff? How can you suck this bad with an auto-tuner? (Ke$ha). … Jeff Hardy’s gotten somewhat better on the mic’, however he still reminds me of Ultimate Warrior. … Beer Money, heh. … Ken Anderson asks why Rude’s hair is always wet, I always just assumed he was just very concerned about hygiene. … Good match. Hardy botched Storm’s finisher. 9 sticky keyboards out of 10. |

look I understand they are trying really hard, and I WANT the heel Sting shit to work, but this whole "deception" thing is just too cheesy for me.

I did like the 4v4 tag match as well though, great spot with everybody's finishers at the end.
