Who gave more to the business? (Rock or Vader)
I was looking at the Better Wrestler poll and had a very dificult decision to make between Vader and The Rock. What I wanted to ask was who do you think did/ gave more to professional wrestling? I think that if the Rock had stuck around he could have "won more championships that Flair", but Vader helped put guys over durring the end of his career and still trains his son today. I gotta go with Vader.

During the respective career, there is no doubt that The Rock gave more to the business than Vader. Post-career though, it is a different story as you pointed out. Is it really fair to compare the two? Not really, but then most of the match-up's in Better Wrestler will be in the same situation.

the fact that Rock is winning the better wrestler poll is a travesty

Vader was a huge star in japan and in WCW as a monster heel

The Rock was a huge star all of 3 or 4 yrs while Vader has been a star for 20 plus yrs

Rock was a much bigger Star than Vader, however I think that Vader has given more to the overall "Business" of wrestling... Rock had popularity more on the entertainment side... Vader continues to give to the business he loves as well, The Rock hasn't done too much for wrestling as of late...

For a "big man" style wrestler, Vader was very agile especially with having moves coming from the top rope compared to the traditional WCW/WWF definition of a mat-based "big man".

The Rock was the complete package in terms of a wrestler where his promos and selling of a match helped offset his limited wrestling ability.

I honestly don't see how this can even be debated... I love Vader as much as the nexct guy, but Rock was the most over person in an entire company (2000) and I don't think the same can be said about Vader.....
