Rank a Wrestler #8 - Owen Hart
Owen Hart ![]() Yes, I have the Hart brothers going in the same week. Owen was a tremendous worker. He could have a match with a piece of paper and it could contend for match of the night. He had an inexplicable ability to put people over too. He had all the tools necessary and all the potential in the world. There is no doubt in my mind that if he didn't have the fall, he'd have been world champion at some point and possibly passed up Bret. Rankings #1 Kurt Angle - 9.53 #2 HHH - 7.89 #3 DDP - 7.69 #4 Kane - 7.33 #5 Rey Mysterio - 6.59 #6 MVP* - 5.95 Last edited by Jimmy Cones; 07-07-2010 at 07:40 AM. |

He is my favourite of all-time....... one of the few wrestlers who I could literally watch forever..... if he isn't a 10, I don't know who is.....

Owen got every gimmick he was given over. I liked him as "the Rocket", loathed him for turning on his family (I was young). He made me believe he really forgave his brother with one hug. I even liked his spots in the Nation and as the Blue Blazer. Top 5 workers of all time.

On a scale from 1 to 10, I think Owen Hart is a 20.
I think he was, without a doubt, one of the top heels of the 90's, and I don't think anyone could do it like he could. I think his turning on Bret resulted in one of the top 10, if not 5, rivalries in WWE history. And I think his briefly becoming the "Sole Survivor" of the Hart Family, as well as his "Enough is enough!" era, were GREAT. Even his "Blue Blazer" work, which I've heard he wasn't happy with, was special. He was certainly underrated by the business, and by a small majority of the fans, and i can only imagine what else he would of accomplished had the tragedy not occurred. RIP, Owen. |

Don't get me wrong I really liked Owen but he never did quite come out of his brother's shadow but came really damn close therefore I give him a high end 8.

Owen was awesome, but I wouldn't put him in the elite class. And I don't think he ever would've been world champion. He just was lacking that "it" factor that puts a guy over the top. Still a fan though.

High 7.
Wasn't the best talker imo, but perhaps better than his brother. Perhaps even a better mat wrestler then his brother was. When I think of Owen Hart, I think of Wrestlemania 10, the cage match and him beating up Jason Sensation. Not enough memorable feuds. Sadly. |

Owen was a solid 8. It's just a pity he never had the chance to shine at the top.

I gave him a 9. He's probably an 8 but he's always been one of my favourite wrestlers. An absolutely amazing heel.
