I wouldn't call him a bad wrestler either, it's just that his character has had some bad storylines after a while and his backstory became somewhat jumbled when you look at certain parts.

That gimmick wouldn't have worked without Warrior though. Give Arn Anderson that gimmick and he probably draws $0.

No. If Arn Anderson (or 98% of guys in history) went on TV painted, with string cutting the circulation to his arms off, cutting ranting promos about spaceships, gods and parts unknown, he'd have been laughed out of the building. The gimmick is pretty dumb on paper. Warrior made it work so successfully because he's a fucking loon.

Ok, I've misunderstood this thread. I thought it based on gimmicks that worked for a wrestler who was poor, not a good gimmick that would have worked on anybody.
