So, following NXT Season 2...

I found it interesting that the WWE had the previously eliminated rookies all lay waste to Kaval in the main event segment. Instead of ending it on a happy note, they've left it on this sort of bitter cliffhanger. Was it just a random thing the WWE did to put over the guys who had been part of the season before they go down to FCW, or is this part of a grander plan?

Yeah, I know this will get a lot of criticisism for even bringing it up, but with Nexus down to just five members, could you see Michael McGillicutty, Alex Riley, Husky Harris, Percy Watson, Lucky Cannon, Eli Cottonwood & Titus O'Neil joining their ranks? At least temporarily until they start "weeding" again? That'd be 12 guys, and while that might be considered "too big," it is only four more than the original Nexus concept consisted of.

I could sort of see how it could create a stir. Next week, they do a random main event featuring the guys in the Six-Pack Challenge -- let's say Sheamus & Wade Barrett vs. John Cena & Randy Orton vs. Edge & Chris Jericho. The result doesn't really matter, but at the end of the match, the Nexus comes down and they beat-down the exhausted competitors (Sheamus can high-tail it). Then, out of the crowd come the NXT 2 guys. They stand-off against Barrett and his men, and then Barrett and McGillicutty smile and hug, and the other members shake hands as the fans are pissed. The beat-down continues, with some of the NXT 2 guys showing off their finishing moves.

The next week, RAW opens with Nexus coming out to their theme, standing on the top of the stage looking like a small army, and then coming to the ring as Wade Barrett & Michael McGillicutty explain why they have joined forces.

Or there is the possibility we could get a Nexus vs. Genesis feud down the line, with McGillicutty starting up his own super-group consisting of the eliminated NXT 2 guys.

I know neither of these ideas may be popular, but let's say you worked for the WWE, and Vince McMahon, for whatever reason, left the decision up to you -- one super-group or a second NXT-born faction -- which would you choose?

Pfft
