ITs really is a shame that those that are best on the mic, tend to be from the past. But I think that may have more to do with the lack of creative freedom today's wrestlers are given.

That being said, there are very few Wrestlers today that make you stop on want to hear what they have to say. For me its the following:

1. CM Punk - The reason I even watch Smackdown
2. The Miz - Has become Gold on the mic
3. Edge - He still has it and knows how to work a crowd
4. John Cena - I know the IWC hates this guy, put his mic skills are unquestionable
5. Santino - Funniest guy in all of wrestling.

I was watching one of the 89/90 Clash of the Champions the other day and Scott Steiner was god awful on the mic. He stumbled over his words and looked all nervous. It was prob closer to 88/89.
