So, UFC just landed a new years gig
According to Sherdog, UFC will be putting on its first New Years event , Jan 1, 2011, in Vegas. Wanna know who they're trying to get to headline it?

Rashad/Shogun isn't going to be until next summer. Rashad is a bitch if he sits for almost 2 years waiting on a title shot. Then again, he'd probably get the winner of Rampage/Machida, and doesn't like his chances.

correct, 123 will see Page, and Machida. Evans will be waiting for two years? He fought in UFC 108 and 114/ He's stupid if he takes a fight before his title match. He has too much to lose, ask Nate Marquardt about fighting Chael, when he was very close to his rematch with Anderson. He's good to wait about 8 or 9 months.
