I really enjoyed Kurt Angle's first year in the WWF the best. He was sort of like the next version of the Honky Tonk Man. Angle could have started as a face since he was the Olympic Hero, but the fans booed him.

Even though insulting the home town team is pretty old material Kurt made up for it by being really funny about it. He also knew when to not take himself too seriously, and went to bring full intensity.

I can't find the video of his insulting Canada on Memorial Day. Though it was probably the funniest burn in WWE history. He went on about how you can't have a barbecue in Canada cause of the Mooses, Carribu's and Grizzlies beating up on people. Then he changed his mind and said the Grizzlies can't beat anybody at home or anywhere else, it's true, it's damn true.

It's True > It's Real. Fact.

My personal favorite is when he was with Edge and Christian, but he was at his best in the mid 2000s. It's just too bad he had neck problems and WWE wanted to keep him a low main event hell instead of the face of the company (like every fan in every arena were doing). He was fucking over. Even saying he'd make God tap out got him cheers. Fucking stupid WWE

I loved his first title reign, but I liked him the most when Austin and him were with Vince, and then The Invasion happened and he won the belt again. It was some of the funniest things I'd ever seen in wrestling, and we got some really good matches out of it. I would also like to mention the Main Event Mafia reign. They had awesome tracksuits too.lol

Probably 2003 when he and Brock Lesnar were going back and forth for the WWE Title.

I've always enjoyed watching Angle's work, but my personal favorite was the babyface "Wrestling Machine" back in 2006.

After winning the vacant World Championship, he had an awesome match with Taker, and with all the momemtum, I would have really liked to see Angle retain at Mania and go on to have a lengthy reign. Instead, Angle's run was cut short (as was the Mania match, 9 minutes wtf?) for Rey's reign, and Angle was booked like crap against Mark Henry.

But, I did love his match with Orton from ONS that year. Just sucks about the circumstances that August with Angle going home.

Despite the questionable booking, I really enjoyed watching that version of Angle.

2002-2004. All the stuff with Benoit/Lesnar/Team Angle, the tracksuits, 'the name of the game is wrestling' etc.

Not sure about a specific era...but my favorite Angle match was Angle vs Undertaker at No Way Out.

I think his wrestling style fits him better in TNA than WWE.
