RAW/SD Roster Swaps
With the upcoming move to SyFy news is some roster swaps are pending. So who do you see going where? Who do you want to go to SD? Why?

I think the whole Edge/GM thing is gonna culminate in Edge quitting Raw and ending up on Smackdown.

This swap could benefit Morrison and Miz a lot assuming WWE moves a few big names to Smackdown while not giving RAW as many big names in return.
Moving just Edge and Jericho to Smackdown alone frees up the main event heels spots to add Miz there after his feud with Bryan is over. Could also benefit Nexus if they move permanently to Smackdown (assuming Cena moves to Smackdown) since they were loosing too much momentum on RAW. |

Well Edge isnt even booked in a match at HIAC right? So he possibly jumps right into Smackdown Friday? Live show... nice "surprise" to people who dont already kind of know he is going to Smackdown

In general, I wish there were a lot more roster swaps. Do trades. Draft is cool, but I prefer trades. I hate the way the draft works. It was much better when they pulled names out of the bingo thing.

I'll say the obvious and move Edge to Smackdown, along with Bourne, whose upward mobility on Raw is severely limited.

Edge is one of the few guys who has been strongly rumoured, isn't he? It stems from him being advertised for SmackDown! shows, or something. Him quitting RAW and going to SmackDown! makes sense. It'd be interesting to see Zack Ryder follow him over, with Edge cleanly not wanting anything to do with him (at first).
Evan Bourne could really use a slot on SmackDown!. The guy can work, but he hardly gets a chance on RAW. The same goes for guys like Primo and Yoshi Tatsu. They're not really doing anything worth noting with the RAW brand. Even Goldust could fair better on SmackDown!. William Regal is one I'd actually like to see change brands, too -- just because the idea of him working longer matches intrigues me. |

Honestly, I wouldn't mind Cena moving. He's been on Raw since 2005 (right?) and has become stale. A change of scenery might work wonders.
Hopefully they don't move too many. Moving one or two makes things fresh, moving 5+ if just like "same guys, different ring ropes". |

With him gone it will drastically alter the landscape because it won't have to revolve around Cena's face anymore, instead, we can go back to the Triple H show (like in 2003) FOR EXAMPLE |

They might actually have the angle to move John Cena with this Nexus storyline. Wade Barrett beats Cena at Hell in a Cell, Nexus try to get him to play ball, and state that if he doesn't fall into line, he'll be gone from RAW. Cena eventually takes out all the members of Nexus in a rage, takes off his "N" t-shirt and reveals a SmackDown! one.
Cena is the first name who comes to mind when it comes to roster switches. Him moving brands would make SmackDown! feel different, and definitely effect RAW. On SmackDown!, we might actually be reminded that Cena can work. Hopefully we can see his character change and progress there. |

Sheamus should go to Smackdown in my opinion. Sheamus could work with Swagger, Rey & CM Punk.....yum that's fresh.

After their trainwreck of a feud, I feel like one of Big Show or CM Punk needs to leave SmackDown. It seems like Show's jumped back and forth more than anyone lately, so I think Punk would actually be the one I'd pick to move, especially if Edge moved back to SmackDown.

Considering the entirety of Nexus as well as Cena are booked for the SyFy premier and have been dominating all the smackdown commercials here, I'd say it is a safe bet that they could all be moving there at this point.
I definitely see Nexus moving there as they did get their start on SyFy and they may be more recognizable to casual viewers of the channel than some of the other wrestlers. |

I could see some of the Nexus guys moving over. Two at most, though. Wade Barrett is doing fine on RAW, and I see him staying there. Michael Tarver and David Otunga aren't good enough in the ring to really survive on SmackDown!. I think Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater have got the best chances of ending up there -- perhaps even as a tag team.
