Wouldn't it be really smart for WWE to use NXT to lure us back on board?
I'll keep this short.
I was watching Smackdown and they plugged NXT on WWE.com and I got to thinking... Why don't they try to gear this show towards the internet audience? If WWE was putting on a weekly competition show with good indy wrestlers that we all are fond of, and allowed them time and permission to actually have "great" matches wouldn't that fucking rock? Of course WWE still has NXT in international markets which alone make the show worth keeping alive. But as an experiment, I'd like to see WWE go another way with NXT this season. Keep it young and fresh of course but maybe a little more hardcore. And by hardcore I don't mean gushing blood and garbage cans etc... I just mean hardcore wrestling the way we all love it, kick your head in or choke you out style. It's the way all the young guys work on the indy's these days. If a wrestler concentrates on good submissions and strikes then they don't have to do career shorting bumps from the top rope or neck drops to wow the audience. BASICALLY WRESTLE LIKE BRYAN DANIELSON. GOD. ![]() |
