A Wild Comeback? (No pun intended)
Yeah, so after a slow start the Wild are slowly starting to click. We have one of the top defenses in the league and Dwayne Roloson has been very consistent. The problem for the longest time was just scoring goals, and now they have started to score a lot more. Calgary and Edmonton should be easy to pass, I smell another playoff birth. Yes its early, but I just got rid of my cold and my sense of smell is very keen right now

What do you mean "no pun intended". If you didn't want to have a pun, you could've used a ton of other words in the place of "wild". For instance:
A crazy comeback? A boisterous comeback? An uncontrollable comeback? An insane comeback? A wacky comeback? An untamed comeback? A reckless comeback? A berserk comeback? A licentious comeback? A chaotic comeback? An enthusiastic comeback? A mad comeback? A hot comeback? A rough comeback? A lawless comeback? A noisy comeback? An outrageous comeback? A rabid comeback? A violent comeback? A tempestuous comeback? A riotous comeback? A furious comeback? A rowdy comeback? A raging comeback? etc etc I think you could have chosen your words a bit better. |

the way Calgary is playing minus 2 players who are incredibly good. The Wild wont catch them, I think the wild might sneak into the playoffs but it's hard to say right now.

By the way, the Wild in the title isn't an adjetive, its the name of a NHL franchise, one that is making its way back into the playoffs. Suck on that Teemu and Paul.

Yeah but if the season ended now, their team would already be in the playoffs

in all honesty I think the west will end up like this.
1.Detroit 2.Vancouver 3.Dallas 4.St.Louis 5.Colorado 6.Calgary 7.Los Angeles 8.Anaheim |

Dallas moving up to third? Im not SUPER familiar with the NHL standings but thats doesn't look right, unless some big changes happen later in the year.
But the numbers dont lie, Minnesota has one of the best defensive records in the league, if the offense gets going even a little bit good things could happen. |

Dallas only needs three wins to move into thrid cause they move into first in their division ahead of LA.

and also chicago has a way better defensive team so I wouldn't hold to much to Minnesota doing something by defense.

GP W L T OL P GF GA HOME AWAY LAST 10
CALGARY 29 15 9 2 3 35 69 63 10-4-2-1 5-5-0-2 6-1-2-1 MINNESOTA 32 13 14 5 0 31 68 68 6-8-3-0 7-6-2-0 5-3-2-0 Calgary is hardly any better than Minnesota, especially considering that they have played above expectations to this point and Minnesota below. Just get ready, cause this shits about to get heavy. |

see minnesotas record is 12-14-5-0 calgary is 16-9-2-3 the wild have played two more games then calgary meaning calgary can gain 2 points on top of what they already have. Calgary has 74 goals for and 63 against. Wild have 65 goals for and 66 goals against. Calgary is Missing Reinprecht,Conroy,Turek which all can make the team better when they get back, to my knowledge no one on Minnesota is out with injury (well players who are capable of 60 point seasons) Not to mention Calgary is also only one win from moving into second in their division moving past colorado moving into fifth in the confrence. I would pick calgary to be a team like the wild was last year. The Wild need to pick up there game alot soon though.
