Reconfiguring a Router?
So, I have had ongoing wireless network issues for a while, the root of which is the router (apparently). I have my girlfriend's old router but I believe I need to reconfigure it so that it stops looking for her network.
Is this correct? And if it is, how do I do it? |

Plug the router into the power outlet and, depending on the router model, hold the reset button on the back for anywhere between 10 and 30 seconds.

And you don't necessarily have to reconfigure anything, but it's better to start with factory settings.

You could also demand your g/f replace her palmed off defective router. Then demand pie and a BJ.
Let me know how that works out. |

yea, do what VC said and log into it to adjust your setttings, pasword etc.... You would have to know the web address to where you can edit the settings though. do you have the manual?

It's typically 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1
