Unhappy Directv dropped g4
Not a big thing, but I did enjoy Attack of the Show on occasion and their E3 coverage. I guess Directv doesn't see the "value" of the channel.

I like G4..or liked sort of. They have a couple of shows worth watching but in general it feels like Spike TV. Lots of filler shows. The channel was awesome at the beginning when it had a big focus towards gaming. It slowly lost steam tho.

I don't see how you can drop G4 when having so many shit channels. I'm not the biggest G4 fan in the world, but it's clearly a channel people know and enjoy, and every cable company carries dozens upon dozens of horrible channels nobody seems to watch or even know about.

I have Comcast anyways, but I have Directv at my beach house

G4 is owned by Comcast and from what Ive heard, Comcast wasnt being reasonable in the negotiations to carry the channel further, including the HD version.

Originally I liked the idea of G4 merging with TechTv since G4 would cover all the times TechTv would repeat a show during a day but a few months later hated how G4 got rid of all the shows and could barely fill up 6-hours with shows before repeating.

G4 basically became a Spike TV lite channel but with less ad revenues and popularity.
