I feel as though a lot of posters, who have been here a while, resent you for being a new cornerstone of this place. I think when that whole thing was brewing the ball was in your court to bite, and it would have escalated very quickly if you did. Looks interesting. The cast is great. I tend to hate westerns that incorporate modern elements and are filmed in a modern way (Wild Wild West, Jonah Hex, etc.), but we'll see.
Jon Favreau deserves the benefit of the doubt.
