What do you do? (#1)
Lets say it is a week before Wrestlemania 20. You are Vince McMahon and SOMEHOW you find out for certain that Benoit is going to commit his double murder suicide. When and How do you write him off WWE TV to get help? Or do you just fire him completely down the line?

What do you do?

I would probably let him enjoy his reign until he loses to Orton then I would look for a way to write him out.

It seems after his Last-man-Standing match with Edge would be an easy way to do so. Drug test him after then regardless of the result have him enter rehab after the match, let him perform at ONS1 then keep him off TV for another long while until "quietly" releasing him.

I would get EDDIE help immediately and find a way to stop him from dying. This would throw off the Benoit/murder-suicide chain of events (since losing Eddie aided in making Benoit go crazy), and would also give us MORE Eddie Guerrero matches.

1. Ban him from doing diving headbutts forever.

2. Ban him taking and giving out chair shots to the head. Ban them all together for everybody so that nobody knows that he is being treaty differently.

3. Get him a brainscan and whatever treatment can be done to reverse his condition.

4. Retire him after him winning the World Heavyweight Title at Wrestlemania 2000. Let him continue until Summerslam where he lost to Randy Orton. Then give him a job as a road agent or just pay him to stay at home.

I like the concept of this series of "what do you do."

For this one, I got to take the wording as is.

To me, "for certain" are key words. I don't know how someone would find out for sure he was going to do this, unless they found something written or heard from Benoit himself that this was planned, but unless Vince has actual proof, calling the loony bin or the police isn't going to help. And "for certain" means that all hope is lost and all the help in the world isn't going to stop him from killing his wife, son, and self.

So creatively, what I do here is heighten the stakes. The man who is pinned in the triple threat match is fired from WWE and the man who was pinned can't have a title match for 6 months. So obviously, you have Benoit lose and move HBK out of the title picture.

Benoit is released, recommended psychiatic care, and not your responsibility anymore.

Considering the WWE doesn't have a psychic on their payroll, and Benoit's past head trauma issues, nothing. It was probably inevitable no matter what action or scenario occured.
