What's your favorite part of the business?
What do you love about the business? If you had ONE thing to look at and say "yeah, that's why I'm a fan of this business", what would it be?

Awesome "marking out loud" moments like when Edge returned out of nowhere to win the Royal Rumble.

There is nothing like wrestling. It's sports competition mixed with art, mixed with every other form of entertainment. A top match is considered a brutal masterpiece. There is nohing else that incompasses so much from so many outlets. If it's a hot topic you will more then likely see it pop up on wrestling. It's just fuckin awesome.

A good wrestling match, not a match with entertainment in it.

It used to be promos and story lines but now great wrestling matches. But I'll get even more specific than that. Wrestling matches that tell a great story.

Exciting performers. Just like Michael Jackson had "something" that made him an amazing singer/dancer, certain professional wrestlers have that same something which makes them amazing wrestlers who are fun to watch, and it's in a creative, violent, interesting environment. And there's nothing better than watching two exciting performers go up against one another. That's something you don't often get from music and TV/movies: an epic showdown. Freddy vs. Jason has nothing on Rock vs. Austin.

I don't get it. Shouldn't a good match be entertaining? I'm not saying it should be devoid of real wrestling and full of gags, but a great WWE main event usually has a hot story to tell.
That's really where they can't be beaten. |

Just the general 'memories' that you get from certain moments.
Title victories, matches, build-ups, promos, stare-downs (like the Angle/Michaels one above)... The 'spectacle' of pro wrestling. |

Most of all I love the good-great-amazing matches I see on the telly/DVD/internet with a great storytelling, great chemistry, the great level of violence, or those who choreographed it well deserve a clap from me and my fellow wrestling fans, I also love the promos/interviews because of the entertainment or the way it panned out and it's a way for us to believe in the character and us to judge, and of course i love the atmosphere from the crowd that watches the shows, we are the judges in the end, we are the ones entertained, we are the ones who cheer or boo whoever who's performing.
Sorry for the essay. |

Yeah, good luck at university.
------=------ My answer, well, the surprises I like. The moments that shock you and stick with you like Shawn Michaels superkicking Hulk or the grand return of 'X'. When surprises are done well there's little else like them in any other sport. I know TNA do these all the time but they aren't done well, in my humble opinion. They happen to often to work. Great matches are obvious and should be right up there for us all. |

I might pop in the Wrestlemania 24 DVD right now, come to think of it. I don't think there's ever been any sports game that I wanted to watch more than once.

Great matches that end up with a moment or unpredictable outcomes to make them special in the long term.
Unpredictable outcomes would be how the crowd cheered Hogan during the Hogan-Rock Wrestlemania match when he was a heel or the Nexus tearing stuff up on their debut. Special moments would be when someone wins a title for the 1st time or HBK vs Undertaker matches from two Wrestlemanias. |

Daniel Bryan vs The Miz on PPV and Miz winning world title was the last 2 times I marked out.
Previous mark moments in recent history: 1. PeeWee Herman goofing off with Miz. 2. Meat Loaf on RAW and the RKO of doom. 3. Jack Swagger winning MITB. 4. CM Punk coming out to join the RAW announce booth 5. Santino chasing off the Nexus. |

TBH, the storylines.
Whilst I can appreciate a quality match, it's the storyline that gives it meaning/impact/emotional pull. |
