what i dont like about this kane/edge angle
ok obviously i know its all an act..but inevitably they are trying to portray this as a real kidnapping. that being said, i hate how every week paul is in new clean clothes, groomed, and well clean looking. i remember edge smashing chicken wings on his shirt, and putting maranara sauce in his hair (lol by the way) i cried a little because the chicken wings looked sexily delicious, but i digress. anyways if paul was really kidnapped, shouldnt he still have his chicken wing soaked shirt, screwed up, maranara-y hair, and a gnarly beard going? i sometimes get nit picky on these attention to detail things. whats your thoughts? if anything it should be at least fun convo

Edge is a kind jailer. He provides Paul Bearer with clean clothes every week on Smackdown. What I want to know is why Kane or Smackdown hasn't called the police on something like this.

Kidnapping is a federal crime WWE! Get on the ball and try to get Kane back with his long lost father!

Kidnapping someone while working with a touring company alongside your main antagonist defies the realm of possibility, but that's not my problem with the angle.

My problem is that Kane looks like a fucking MORON each and every week.

Fucking ridiculous. Kane was cunning enough to come up with his plan to destroy the Undertaker, but not smart enough to play Wile E. Coyote to Edge's Roadrunner.

That's exactly what I was thinking while watching SmackDown tonight.

The whole angle reminds me of a Looney Tunes episode. Where does Edge get all these mannequins from? Are they ACME mannequins? How can Kane be so stupid to fall for the same prank three times, yet know how to defeat The Undertaker? (Similar to what you said)

Also, I'm in a nitpicking mood so if Paul Bearer is alone backstage and tied to a chair with his mouth taped, wouldn't someone help him? It's the backstage area of an arena that has a "sold out" show going on, there's no way it would be empty.

Really, you would think that rescuing Paul Bearer would be a good way to get into Kane's good graces...which seems like a place you would want to be. Is everybody backstage THAT afraid of Edge?

My prob with this feud is Edge shouldn't be the face.

You have some dude kidnapping someone's dad, abusing him, and taking every shortcut possible. I have trouble seeing Edge as the Anti-Hero, and I can't buy him as a face.

I have to say though, it's better than his last run as a face when every promo he kept saying included "SPEAR! SPEAR! SPEAR! SPEAR! SPEAR! SPEAR! SPEAR! SPEAR! SPEAR! SPEAR!"

The only annoying thing now is that the crowd still chant that duing his matches. It's even included in SvR11.

I think the problem is that Edge did an amazing job at being a heel between 2004 and 2009 that now, we're all used to it and just find it very hard to buy him as a face. I think during that period of time, he became a "Cool Heel" to the majority of us and now he's sortof stuck there, which is always bad for a wrestler. You don't want to become a "Cool Heel" if you're a wrestler.

It doesn't matter what he does now, because most of us would rather see him go back to being a "Cool Heel".

I really wish Kane would bring back the mask. This isn't a shot at you bigslimjj but I'm tired of people saying that Kane should bring back the mask.

The mask is totally irrelevant now. The whole point of the mask was to hide Kane's face as it was scarred and burned. But when Kane removed it, his face was fine and the scars were only "mental scars" or something like that.

The good thing behind the mask for Kane was that it added mystery to the Kane character, as everyone wanted to know what he looked like under the mask. Now that we've all seen Kane's face, Kane putting the mask back on would just be stupid as he'd just be a 43 year old bald man in a mask.

When Kane unmasked, it totally destroyed the Kane backstory and all it left was the story that Kane and Undertaker are half-brothers and Paul Bearer is their father. All the stuff about Kane being burned and people being disgusted when they saw his face (See McMahon-Helmsley Faction) was just thrown out the window and "it never happened".

So I don't think Kane should bring back the mask as I personaly don't think it would do anything for him. It won't scare kids and the kids will know it's just Kane under the mask as they already know what he looks like.

Also, it was Kane's choice to lose the mask. Something about finding it hard to breathe and wanting to show more emotions was his reason for losing it.

So I don't think Kane will want the mask back anytime soon.
