FFX-2 general thread (Probably spoilers)
Before I start, I had no idea this how unbelievably 'girly' this game turned out to be. As a result, I'm almost dissapointed.

Almost.

It's still Final Fantasy, It's still not a bad game.

(cough)

Anyway, who owns it, and how far have you got.

I'm at the end of chapter 2 after getting it 4 days ago.

I played it a few times and it's okay, not as good as a FF game should be though...

I'd say I'd have to agree with you there. It's taking a while to get used to the separate missions, I flew straight through ch. 1 without even realising I could do the secondary missions right then

And Dresspheres? Waste of time. I haven't changed them in-battle yet.

The dresspheres are only needed if you want to complete the game 100%

The reason why this game was so terrible was because of the music. Nobuo Umeatsu did not do the music and I heard it was rumored that he will not be doing the music for Final fantasy 12 either.

Yeah I was pretty dissapointed with it.

The FFX battle set-up was excellent; knowing the next 8 turns after yours, the real time dialogue, overdrives, etc. I think FFX-2 tried to deviate away from the FFX battle system to the traditional battle system. Plus the lack of alternate characters, and music by Nobuo Umeatsu makes it even worse.

Well that's not entirely true, you get items later in the game that allow you to use all the learned abilities of one dressphere whilst having another one equipped. So if you master three spheres, you can pretty much have three going at once. Do you have any idea how much anus Paine kicks when she can use all the abilities of Warrior, Dark Knight, and Samaurai at once?

I brought it, completed it in a week, played through again, got the perfect ending. Not too long but I thought it was pretty awesome.

Nice video. Actually, I regularly go on www.nuklearpower.com, its main feature is a 3+ year-long comic strip using the 4 main characters of the original Final Fantasy, including cameos from other familiar faces. It has me in fucking stitches. I suggest anyone who hasn't already seen it, do so now. You'll thank me later.
