Is it time for a new "Ministry"-type stable?
The Minstry of Darkness, in addition to leading up to Austin/McMahon, was a catalyst of change for several stale midcarders - Blackjack Bradshaw and Farooq became the Acolytes, Phineas I. Godwinn became Mideon, and Mabel became Viscera.

With WWE starting to realize they need to push new talent, is it time for a new group of midcarders to get a gimmick change? If so, who would you put in the group, what main eventer would lead, and what would the group concept be?

We're lucky we have 2 stables going right now. A third might be pushing it.

Ahh I see... so who do you see as making these needed character changes to create a new dark-side type stable? Because I don't see WWE wanting to make anything that could scare those little 9 and 10 year olds.

Not saying it has to be dark - hell, it could be the next incarnation of 3-Count or the Spirit Squad for all I care. Just wondering if people think there are enough stale midcarders that could become something more if given a chance.

We already got this with the Straight Edge Society. Granted, it was only Festus who got the transformation, but it has already happened.

It could definitely work on a larger scale, and Punk would be the perfect one to lead it, especially if he formed a new version of the SES down the line.

Other stables have done this, though maybe not as dramatically as the Ministry. The Nation turned Kama Mustafa into the Godfather. DX changed Hunter Hearst Helmsley into Triple H. Even Los Boriquas turned Savio Vega into Savio Vega the gang leader.

But right now there probably isn't room for a third stable. Maybe a New Age Outlaws deal where two singles guys who are going nowhere just join up.

I think it would be awesome what WWE is missing is some "dark" gimmicks, characters and storylines but I think thats because WWE is PG so they dont want to do anything too risky. But they should do something like a "Union Of Dark Souls" and have it be a stable of people who have forsaken there souls just to get revenge on the wrestlers around them.

For example take a guy like JTG who has always been a fun loving bling guy. Now have JTG come out with straight hair, no grill nothing fancy or shiny and wearing a long black jacket. JTG can stare into the crowd and say that he has "given up his soul...to embrace the darkness". Then JTG has a match against some low card guy and destroys them and then after the match the rookie could disappear from the ring.

Then this stable can get more and more members and everyone will wonder who is leading it. The answer would be something like, a repackaged Edge who says that in order to change the WWE he had to come back to the past and the past was when he was part of the Darkness.

Then The Union Of Lost Souls could face both versions of Nexus who reunite in order to save there members from the new "plague" of the WWE and you can go on from there.

I just don't see how they can come back from this......When they was in the attitude era.......they were pullin like 6.1 ratings on a constant...hell WWE is the reason why I know what ratings are!!!...true story....but seriously...now they can't crack a 4 on a excellent day!!!! and they are on the same network they started on!!!!

Why....because they are losing the teenagers...they are going to UFC.....Daddy will buy that 6 ,7, 8 year old an expensive ass Mysterio mask and the 300 dollar belt...but the teens will be less likely because they have pissed Daddy off by then...and he is lucky he bought tickets.....that dynamic is effecting their stock....

UFC comes on damn near everyday.....and each fight is different....and you learn something....
