For those unaware, it's available on Steam for $10. It's an action/adventure type of game where you play as a wizard, but the way they've done spells and magic is really cool. It's a bit hard to explain, but the basics of it are that there are eight elements, and by mixing and matching them in different arrangements, you can conjure different spells.

For example, if you use fire by itself, it's released in a cone shape. If you use fire and earth together, you make an explosive fireball projectile. Combining fire and arcane is essentially a death ray. Things get really intricate when you start using all five of the magic "slots" to make completely new effects.

Elements work together, too. If you douse an enemy with water and then use cold on them, they freeze. If you're wet and you try to use lightning, you shock yourself.

Extremely deep is the best way to describe it. I've only just started playing, but I figured you guys might be interested in checking this out, too.


Also going to include this video I found on Youtube. It might do a better job of explaining things than I did.

I need to try the demo. The premise seems cool but the videos haven't sucked me in.

I will probably check it out once the price drops and some of the bugs get worked out. Seems like a decent enough game for 10 bucks anyway.

I'd recommend it, especially at the cheap price tag. I think I should also mention that it's got a sense of humor that RPG fans will enjoy, and the "language" the NPC's speak I can best describe as gibberish Viking. Often hilarious in and of itself.
