"Sleep well, may you dream of large women"

I found myself thinking about big woman earlier today... then again at 6ft 3 225lbs I'm not exactly Tiny Tim Ok, seriously though I was watching some vids of female wrestlers who arent exactly built like "Angelina Love" (big chest, small waist, amazing face) There have been a few female wrestlers out there who are just for shock value, Nicole Bass and that Rosie Lotta Love come to mind. There have also been some women who are really talented like Aja Kong and Hamada but arent an hour glass. Would you like to see some female wrestlers come in who arent models or on the bigger side but have the ability to put on great matches?

FEELS LIKE I'M WEARING NOTHING AT ALL

NOTHING AT ALL

NOTHING AT ALL

I think one "bigger" woman would be good for the WWE, as a change of pace...like, Kong, for example.

But honest to christ, I haven't given a shit about women's wrestling in ages, and one of the only saving graces of them taking up TV time is that they're decent to look at. So having a division full of lard tubs who only put on *decent* matches is something I'll pass on.

It seems that wwe is giving more attention to their more talented female wrestlers. And they are also nice to look at.

And if I wanted to watch even better female wrestling, I would just watch shimmer. They are also hot over there.

So you see, one can easily get their quality female wrestling desires filled, without having to look at grenades and beached whales.

I'd love to see the women's division actually start meaning something, and throwing in a few Awesome Kong's and such would help to get people to take it more seriously. Like other's have stated their are plenty of good wrestlers who look good as well. Basically WWE needs to fire all the Kelly Kellys, Eves, etc and start hiring more Gail Kims, Natalyas, and Beth Pheonixs.

As I said, WWE has been using their better wrestlers for a while now. Look at who has been in the title picture the last six months. Natalya, Michelle, Beth, Melina. Kelly Kelly and her ilk havn't gotten near the title in a while.

Only women who really care about the actual wrestling and improving their work have been featured. After the rumble, I would put Eve in that category as well. She has improved since her first title run.

Don't forget how bad trish was when she started out.

True Trish was pretty horrible but until Eve actually improves to the point that she is acutally putting on good matches on a regular basis like Trish eventually did I'll continue to think WWE is only pushing her in an attempt to get the 'Latino' comunity to watch. Also I agree WWE has been improving it's Diva's Division quite a bit but it's still got a way to go before it's actually taken seriously by the average fan.

It seems requisite all women must hold the title at least once while in WWE, no matter how garbage they may or may not be in the ring.

In a stroke of brilliance, TNA actually proved that people could care about women's wrestling... until their ADD kicked in and they shelved all that they built, presumably because they were showing up half the roster with their workrate and in some cases getting more TV time than the boys.

Never answered the question... Yeah, I would love to see people like a Hamada or a Bull Nakano type girl. Doesn't matter though. As it stands, both TNA and WWE need to better focus on what they have and not squander it. I still don't abide by Eve being the champion while Gail has clusterfuck catfights with the Bellas.

By the way, I admittedly thought this thread was going to be about Andre at first due to the quote.

I know i'm probably the only one, but I don't see what is so bad about Eve. Eve is pretty decent in the ring and actually tries to improve. I don't see why people think Melina is good. She gets worse with every match. I actually like most of the diva search girls: Christy Hemme, Maria etc. I also feel that Michelle McCool is one of the best women's wrestlers today and I don't see why people don't like her either. Kelly Kelly has improved as well. Tiffany was decent in the ring. Layla is even improving and I am not a fan of hers at all. I for one just don't understand why people get on Eve's case, as I feel she puts on good matches. My favorite divas are Beth Phoenix and Natalya no doubt, but I would put Eve and Michelle McCool right after them as my favorite divas. Also, Trish Stratus couldn't wrestle until late 2002-early 2003 in my opinion. She put on decent matches before, but it really wasn't til 2003 where she started to shine. I think it was because she was working with Victoria and Molly Holly who taught her a thing or two of what to do in a ring.

I think they some legit wrestlers like Melina, Nattie, and Beth to help improve their game. Sometimes, I wished WWE kept Ivory and Jacqueline as trainers and talent scouts for the Women's division.

I wouldn't mind it if they brought in one or two, but I like the way the division currently is. You have some amazing looking women who can actually wrestle. Gail Kim doesn't get to do much, but she's right up there in terms of ability, and hopefully her relationship with Daniel Bryan gets her featured more and more prominently.

Layla looks amazing, but has been improving so much. Right now, I'd consider her perhaps the most purely entertaining female worker the WWE has. Over time, I hope to see her get even better. Michelle McCool is not my cup of tea, but she's a great worker. She's been busting her ass to make everyone look good recently.

Eve Torres wants to improve -- that much is evident -- and I did enjoy her performance at the Royal Rumble. That being said, I just don't think she should be the Divas Champion right now. I would have let her train for even longer, and let things go into autopilot for WrestleMania. It seemed so simple to me: Natalya defends the Divas Title successfully heading into WrestleMania, where Beth Phoenix respectfully wants to challenge her. Michelle McCool & Layla, being the heels that they are, find their way into the match, but are having issues because they can't win the title back. The match is agreed on as a Fatal 4-Way, with LayCool unable to declare themselves "co-champion."

Beth Phoenix wins the Divas Title here, giving her return its full closure. Natalya is upset, but respectfully hands the Divas Title over to her. Amazing Kong then appears and destroys all four girls. Kong Bombs for all. Kong's statement and subsequent victories against Divas on RAW leads to her becoming the #1 Contender for the Divas Title in time for Extreme Rules. At that PPV, the Diva lockerroom piles out and attacks Kong, allowing Beth Phoenix to pick up the victory and retain her title, but putting over the threat that Kong is.

Eventually you build up to Kong facing Phoenix in a Steel Cage Match, or something, where Kong finally takes the title. She then comes out with the WWE Women's Title, and claims that she is not a Diva -- she's a woman.

I can dream.

Oh, right, the topic at hand. If I were going to sign women, I would look at what they offered as far as marketable differences go. I'd consider bringing in a woman from Japan -- especially if she were both a good worker and good looking. I don't keep up with my joshi enough to know who is a good candidate.

A masked female from Mexico is also a great idea. She could create intrigue with the concept of a mask, she could fuel male fantasies, and create an athletic figure girls could aspire to. The WWE also loves their Hispanic audiences. And come on: How could would it be seeing LayCool ripping into this girl for obviously being "too ugly" to reveal her face, with it just not effecting her, and her going hurricanrana crazy on LayCool.

Beyond those two, I'd stick to the usual wet dreams of Cheerleader Melissa, Sara Del Ray and the like. Oh, but I'd consider bringing in Jessie McKay. She's an Aussie, which gives her an angle right there, and apparently she's quite good at getting crowds behind her.
