Jake Roberts mainly due to having watched more of his matches and feuds than Arn Anderson's and being more of a WWF viewer than WCW or other promotions as a kid.

I missed out on most of Arn Anderson's wrestling career until mid-WCW years (NwO era) but he was a good wrestler and great in the 4 Horsemen stable.

Both were good with promos and had great feuds during their careers.

I went with Jake overall, but one of the promos that always stuck out in my mind from WCW Nitro was when Benoit and Malenko were trying to revive the horsemen and Arn talking about how he can't do it anymore because of how beat up he was. The passion he delivered it with was unreal.

Jake had a lot of personality both in the ring on the mic, and a mind game that equals or possibly surpasses the likes of wrestlers today, such as Undertaker and Triple H.

With that being said, I still voted for Arn Anderson. The reason for this is because all of the Jake's attributes that I've mentioned may have made him a great character, but not a great wrestler. Arn was a great competitor, what he lacked in mic skills he surely made up for in ring ability.

Now this isn't to downgrade Jake's accomplishments, but on the subject of who is the better wrestler, I'll have to tip my hat to the enforcer.

Always disliked this argument. If 'getting it done' between the ropes was what really mattered, Dynamite would be a millionaire and Benoit would have won 18 world titles. I also think you're underselling Jake a bit, his timing, 'psychology' (ugh) etc was on par with anybody ever, which is far more important than how many reversals and holds you can do. Arn Anderson was solid at most, Jake is a legend.
