Sin Cara should have made his debut during WM27
This is an expansion on Gertner's WM Corre thread. I think my idea would work well and it might have gotten looked over due to the thread not being that big, so I'm reposting what he said with my reply.
Quote:
It's a beautiful irony isn't it? You dislike Daniel Bryan, I like him. His match got pushed over to RAW, where he got squashed by Sheamus and then Sin Cara made his premiere, attacking Sheamus.... I dig the Corre though and also was displeased with the waste of time they gave gave them. That match was a waste. Now since they gave that piece of crap match 3 minutes or less, I think what happened on RAW with Sheamus and Sin Cara would have been more effective on WM... At WM they could have extended the 'RAW' US Title match by at least 2 minutes, let Sheamus do what he did, but let Bryan showcase some moves, have him kick him hard and win, here comes Sin Cara- show casing his Micheal Jordon suicide jump, attacking Sheamus.... making a better impact and including the US belt on the card. US Title match, Sheamus, Daniel Bryan and Sin Cara & a crappy 3 minute waste of time filler match could have fit on the card. ![]() It would have gave Sin Cara his little "WM" moment and gave Sheamus and Daniel a spot an the card, including two RAW regulars. It would have made an already mediocre Wrestlemaina slightly better. Thoughts? ![]() ![]() "EVERYTHING YOU DO IS A PIECE OF A PLANE PLUMMETING TOWARDS A PITIFUL, DYING EARTH BUT YOUR ART, WHAT YOU CREATE IS STEPPING ONTO THE BURNING WING AND FORGETTING SILLY THINGS LIKE LIFE AND DEATH FOR A MOMENT JUST TO ENJOY FOR ONE SECOND A GLIMPSE OF BEAUTY BEFORE YOU ARE REDUCED TO ASHES" - Marilyn Manson 12-15-1999 |

When I came into this thread, I thought the idea was going to be to have Sin Cara debut as Kozlov's replacement in the 8 man tag...

I would have found time for Sin Cara to have an actual match at Wrestlemania. It would have made his debut much more special.

Attacking somebody like he did at RAW would give him a name. Giving a new "wrestletainer" a match just like? People wouldn't care as much.

Ya, just a quick 5-6 minute match where he hits some entertaining spots. They could have announced it a few weeks ahead of time to build some heat. Maybe against Chavo Guerrero Jr.

LOL, now you're talking about giving CHAVO a WrestleMania match, which is just MADNESS!
