Sin Cara
so we've seen him beat up Sheamus and team with john cena. botched his entrances to the point that vince may change it and did a horrible botch last night on raw. with that said....will he survive soley on the fact that triple h hired him or a future endeavors candidate (down the road...) and the stories he's been tellin backstage that have made him look like an ass talk about the faceless one...

He has a bigger trampoline now and is getting a push comparable to Del Rio now. I don't think WWE is losing interest in him just yet, they have invested quite a bit in the guy.

I never seen him botch his entrance. Last night was the smoothest one, but it isn't like he fell down or did not make it into the ring or something.

That said, he did botch the finish by missing the move.

Anyways, I'm not too high on Sin Cara right now. Seems like he would have been great in the WCW Cruiserweight division, but in today's environment, I just don't see him lasting. Especially with the full face mask.

I think your right VSG. i like the guy i've just never seen someone make so many mistakes. and yea that trampoline is def gonna help his entrances. most creative entrance i've seen in a long time. as for the del rio comparison...we haven't heard him speak, was he good on the mic in mexico?

from a tpww headline report: Sin Cara tried to impress his peers backstage a recent WWE event by claiming that many of his notable victories in Mexico were shoots. There was plenty of eye-rolling over his conduct, with some feeling he embarrassed himself.

He got his entrance right last night on Raw, looked pretty awesome seeing him fly over the ropes like that.

And his awesome finisher, the devastating 'springboard arm across the chest' was excellent too. I'm really liking this guy.

That's a good point, looks like someone trying to start shit, I didn't read that report anywhere else anyway.

I feel like Sin Cara needs to calm his nerves and time will tell if he can adapt to the WWE style and if others can adapt to his unique style, which has a lot to do with the dodgeyness of his moves. I think he's gonna be awesome in time.

See this is the problem with WWE. It is sink or swim out of the gate. If you aren't top of the card you are endeavored in a month.

He should be in a cruiser div with JoMo, R-Truth, and their ilk learning WWE style before teaming with Cena.

While it may be a step back for guys like Daniel Bryan and Rey Mysterio, tons of cruiserweights are in the WWE without a goal to reach, and it's not like they're teaming up the guys to get anything done either. It's a waste of talent. They have a bunch of cruisers: Bryan, Evan Bourne, Justin Gabriel, Sin Cara, just to name a few.

I mean Mysterio is one of the WWE's biggest stars. Wouldn't it be a wise business decision to have a cruiserweight division? The kids would love it, the adults would love it. Bring it back and soon.

what's wrong with a full mask? i think it stands out quite a bit.
i just wish his mannerisms were more stoic. the way he was all handshakey and huggy with cena kinda made me feel like i was watching a power ranger. i was hoping for someone more badass than that.

I don't really know where they can go with him. Sure he's got amazing athleticism and an 'impressive to watch' move-set. But it carries risks, I'm sure the WWE will have him 'tone it down' once he's established and then he can show us he can work a good match with fewer mistakes, maybe I'll have a different opinion then.

But if he really speaks no English he needs a mouthpiece. Face characters with managers historically for the most part don't go over well.

I think having him attack Sheamus and Swagger then team with Cena is just WWE cementing to the fans that he is a face, and they are supposed to be cheering for him.

...It's they just put so much pressure on him right off the bat, and adevertised him as the next great Superstar before he even stepped into a WWE ring, that the expectations on him are very high...which also makes him perhaps turn up the voltage "too much" when he wrestles, makes him too excited, and that's where mistakes may occur...

I'm not hating just because, but I blame Cena a bit for not dragging the guy far enough away from the rope when he pulled him to that position. I thought Cara was going for something off the top rope with him being so far in the corner like that. True, he overshot, but that was kind of a short way to spring a moonsault.

Doubtful they'll get rid of him. I went to a house show in Birmingham on saturday, and after Alex Riley interfered in the John Cena vs. The Miz match, it was changed to John Cena and Sin Cara vs. The Miz & Alex Riley. After the match, Cena actually left the ring and went to the back before Sin Cara, who was the last to leave and who's music played the show out. This was after his botches on Raw etc. So it seems they are really invested in him regardless. After the show the Sin Cara mask replicas sold out (Rey didn't), so I can't see them getting rid of him anytime soon.

Sin Cara will be gone in 3 months. Like the guy, but it isn't gonna work. Maybe they should put him on Smackdown and keep him with Rey Mysterio so Rey can help him work WWE style matches. Give him pointers and stuff.

Thing is that whenever you bring in a guy with so much hype and expectations, and bring him in as a face, it's gonna be tough.

My opinion:

I think he is great for television. He has provided much needed high flying in ring action that the WWE has been missing, especially on RAW. I LOVE his entrance and his finisher and willing to give him time to adjust before cashing my chips in on him. The WWE is really putting the pressure on as they tend to do with their newest studs. I hope the best for him because he really is fun to watch and I love his look.

Nah, but seriously, it's hard to bring someone in as a face, who has to adapt to the WWE style, and not only that, put high expectations on him, especially when, inevitably, he reminds you of another wrestler in the company (Rey).

Alberto Del Rio was different, because he came in as a heel, worked in FCW for a while, is great on the mic, is not the typical "luchador" (doesn't over-rely on the high-flying stuff, is tall), etc.

If anything Sin Cara keeps me watching RAW. I do other stuff around the house while RAW is on, but if there's a Sin Cara match, I make sure to watch it. Because I love counting all the botches

ADR still has more to prove me. Anyone can come in and be a heel. It's easier and alot more fun. I'd like to see how he would've handled being a face from the get go. Especially a face that has been force fed lines.
