Extreme Rules Scenarios
With the draft almost complete what does everyone think the title landscape will look like?

As much as I like John Cena (one of the few I know haha) I am hoping John Morrison pulls out the win at Extreme Rules so he can feud with R-Truth which would be a great title feud filled with decent-good matches. I have a feeling that CM Punk will somehow walk out WWE Champion though. I feel he will be victorious in his Last Man Standing Match with Orton due to the Nexus and somehow enter himself into the match. The GM seems to favor heels anyway. Miz will most likely retain but I'd rather see one of the other two scenarios play out.

The ladder match should go in Christian's favor in my opinion. They shouldn't have Alberto Del Rio win if they indeed keep Miz and Del Rio on the same brand, though Miz would have already been traded on the live draft. I have this feeling that Mark Henry will somehow cost Christian the match, climb the ladder and win the world title. It can happen. I hope it doesn't since it should be Christian's time but I can see that happening.

I don't understand how you find that CM Punk can become WWE Champion and that Mark Henry can become World Champion at Extreme Rules. Unless you meant to say at the next event?

That being said.

What I think? Not necessarily what I think is GOOD, but my call...

- R Truth will screw Morrison out of the championship and he will get pinned by Miz
- Christian takes the World Championship and goes on to feud with Randy Orton/Mark Henry

The Mark Henry situation could happen. The match is no disqualification, anything goes. He could take out both Christian and Del Rio when they're both on the ladder at the same time and push them over, take the ladder, climb it and win the title. It is possible. I think your scenarios make sense and is what will probably happen. I'm thinking about the Unforgiven 08 scenario in terms of CM Punk when Jericho took him out and entered himself in the scramble match and won the title. Don't forget Jericho went through an unsanctioned match with HBK before that. Punk can survive the Last Man Standing match and somehow gets himself into the match. I know it is more than likely not going to happen, but you never know.

They will find Morrison laid out in the back, just prior to the triple threat match.

Cena and Miz will wrestle for about 10 minutes, when all of a sudden, the lights go out!!!!

After 10 seconds the lights come back on and who is standing on the top turnbuckle?!?! ZACK RYDER! who delivers a double Rough Ryder to Cena and Miz and walks out the new WWE Champion!

Pretty sure he'd have to be officiially in the Ladder Match. He can't just "win" a match that he's not legally involved in. He could just take the title, no champion crowned.

Always wanted to see a scenario where someone not in a ladder match will come out and destroy both the participants in the ring. Then he climbs the ladder, grabs the title, (in this case) and proclaim he is the new champion.

Honestly thought this would happen when Matt Hardy ran in during MITB at Wrestlemania 24. Except it wasn't for the title.

Yeah. It's a neat angle. But, like you say, he would only be claiming to be champ.

Kinda wanted a MitB winner to insert themselves into a Ladder Match. Have the two guys competing taken out by a huge spot and the briefcase gets cashed in and the guy just climbs the ladder and takes the belt. I guess that relies on whether a cash in starts a seperate match or not
