Smackdown vs Raw GM Mode

Hey guys. I just recently bought my Xbox 360 about 6 months ago, and I haven't actually bought a SVR since Here Comes The Pain. I was looking for a cheap version to play around with and GM mode sounds like it could be fun. It was in 06, 07 & 08, but in 08 it looks like it turned into 24/7 Mode. Are any of these 3 better than the others, or are they pretty much the same?

08 seems to have more cool stuff in it, what with the ECW inclusion. Did they completely screw it up when changing it to 24/7?

'08 is pretty awful. They completely f***ed up the controls, and the 24/7 mode sucks ass...I don't like how you're eventually put in to some 15,000 year feud with Vince and his family from like New Year's to WM. UGH.

Yeah I guess if you enjoy more hardcore matches with weapons then 08 is a good bet. The GM part of 24/7 mode is largely faithful to the 07 edition, just with 3 brands instead of 2.

I would recommend picking up both and trying them out to see which you like best, they both cost next to nothing on amazon and eBay, the P&P will cost more than the actual game, lol.

Pretty much what Tommy said. The best is to pick up both and try them out. I was turned off by 08's GM mode at first but it grew. I like the fact that you can raise the popularity of your superstars with signings, promos, etc.
