Here's my example...

Hulkamania Era -early 90's: I used to watch the occasional Superstars show and play with those rubber figures avec blue steel cage and ring. Also used to play the Royal Rumble game on Super Nintendo. Wasn't a big fan though

1995-1998: None, didn't watch

1999: Started getting into it. Never had cable at home so I had to watch RAW at a friends' house. I was able to watch Smackdown on UPN. Was mad into The Rock. He was my favorite at THE TIME

2000: Got cable so I got the full dose. Wouldn't miss an episode. Watched religiously. At this time an old friend was a huge nWo fan and I was a WWF fan. We would drink at 'The nWo Clubhouse' (complete with nWo memoribilia, posters, and toy dolls on the walls). It was gay. I was subject to lots of old WCW footage and buddy made me get an nWo shirt

It was a drinking club type of thing. So gay.

2001-2002: Favorite time. The weed made it more interesting. Was hoping for the Invasion/nWo angles to come in FULL EFFECT, but was dissapointed. Rock was still around full-time, so that kept me watching (no homo)

2003-2005: Pretty steady watching, even though Rock was gone for most of this time. Was on THE INTERNET more during this tine so I was AWARE of things I wasn't before. Even though the product wasn't as interesting and entertaining as the 99-00 time, I would still follow it. Just like Rock was my favorite from 1999-2002, John Cena was the man I tuned into see during this time. And Rey Mysterio and Flair. Of course, the biggest thing for me happened in 2003, and that's when The Rock returned as A HEEL. My dream finally came true

2006-2008: Barely watched it. Was too busy with other things

2009-2010: Didn't watch at all

2011: Watching it again, even though I don't like the PG Era. When it comes to my favorite wrestler, CM Punk is now my 'The Rock' of this era. Seems like today it's all nostalgia or coming around full circle. I just watch because there's nothing else on, or if I'm home. It's not religiously like it was back in 2000-2002. Hopefully it picks up with this whole Punk fiasco. If Punk stays, I'm hoping this ushers a new era (similar to the Attitude Era)

Early 90's, started watching on WWF Saturday Mornings. Rented a lot of ppvs. Didn't hear of WCW until shortly before Hall and Nash went over to WCW. Started watching, watched both Raw and Nitro when WCW played Nitro twice, stopped watching WCW when there were too many versions of the nWo to follow, kept watching.

1985-1990: Watched, but not religiously. More of a casual thing. I remember my favorites being Macho Man and Ultimate Warrior. Hogan was just "ok".

1991-1995: Barely paid attention. My brothers and dad continued to watch though, so I still had some exposure to it.

1996-1997: Got back into wrestling in a big way. Paul Bearer turning on Undertaker drew my attention back into it. Then when Wrestlemania 13 came, and the big Bret/Austin match happened, my fandom was solidified. I became a huge Bret mark and was on his side during the whole feud because I couldn't help but feel that he was in the right.

Also during this time my attention began to turn towards WCW and the big Hogan/Sting match they were building to. Before I had been mainly WWF.

1998-2001: Continued to watch religiously, both WWF and WCW now. Hated Austin in the WWF. Loved The Rock, Triple H, Kurt Angle (when he came), Edge and Christian, Chris Jericho. And Billy Kidman.

Was incredibly hyped when WWF bought WCW. Enjoyed aspects of the Invasion, but was disappointed on the large scale.

2002-2005: Kind of a transition era. Which I enjoyed a lot. Triple H being a monster. Evolution. Smackdown being awesome with Angle, Brock, Eddie, JBL etc.

2006-Present: Interest in WWE as a whole went down as the Cena/Batista/Orton era began. Found myself being "alright" with missing the occasional show. Pretty much stopped buying PPVs at all. In the recent year and a half or so, things have picked up though with this "youth movement" and my interest has been renewed as well.

Also during this period I watched TNA from around the time Christian went there, to shortly before they did the Main Event Mafia stuff. I found that I enjoyed it immensely, and even looked forward to it more than WWE. I only stopped watching because I got really busy for a stretch and could not keep up. Then when I tried to jump back into it, I was confused because everyone who was a face was now a heel, and everyone who was a heel was now a face. Tried to get back into it when the Hogan era started, but it was just so terrible that I could not.

Iv missed 4 raw's since then. id flick over to nitro a bit before raw started on friday nights but i thought it sucked. discovered this site during the higher power angle.

2003-2005: switched off for 4 weeks running and missed all the HLA (big deal, theres porn everywhere). Considered switching off forever when benoit got the belt and bored me to tears in 2004. he made michaels tap at backlash in canada and that was the last ppv i missed because i knew benoit was going over. i still thank Randy Orton to this day for beating him for the belt at summerslam. we got Raw live in Ireland on sky sports which cemented my place as a fan forever.

2006 - ? I dont care about sd for a good few reasons so i just read spoilers for that. i love Raw to bits and iv made peace with the fact that ill never ever stop watching wrestling. I love it so fucking much, its just great

1988-1991
Started discovering pro wrestling, through CWA live shows in Germany...Watched WWF Superstars Of Wrestling (plus Saturday Night's Main Events, The Main Events, and Pay-Per-Views) on the Armed Forces Network.

1991-1996
Upon returning to America in October 1991, started noticing WCW and New Japan Pro Wrestling, plus various indies like GWF, SMW, and USWA.

1996-2002
Started noticing ECW in June 1996...And watched all 3 promotions, plus more Japanese promotions like FMW and AJPW...When ECW and WCW shut down, I watched WWF for a while, and it got boring, which was why I stopped watching WWF/E as often as I did.

2002-present
Started noticing other promotions like WWA, ROH, and TNA...Watched WWE occassionally, mainly SmackDown!, as it was more wrestling-oriented...Began watching wrestling from various countries outside of America, which I enjoyed very much.

1993 - 2011

Watched/followed it religiously. Granted, the last few months have been tricky with me 'travelling' and all, but I still keep up with it. Mostly WWE, but I still follow TNA and ROH and various other Indys (mainly Chikara).

Back in the day, I was all into WWF and WCW, and I watched ECW a lot but not always, wasn't so easy to view in the UK, and this was before the internet was in full swing that it was so easy to get results etc.

And always supported/went to local events/companies. Wrestled for some of them too! Back in 2003/2004 there was a huge surge of small wrestling companies around where I live, so it was a pretty exciting time to be a wrestler back then.

94 to 97 - Watched it sporadically, mainly for the Undertaker. For WM 12, I was looking more forward to Diesel and Undertaker than the Iron Man match. Had no idea of WCW or ECW.

98 to 03 - Watched WWE religiously, wasn't aware of where I could watch WCW or ECW. Loved wrestling through this time as most of us did. Without a doubt, the peak of the industry what with Austin, DX, Taker and Kane, Jericho, the Radicals and the tag teams like E&C, the Hardyz and the Dudleyz.

04 to 07 - Fell out with it as the lack of competition became evident. Would watch it every now and again but the quality was incredibly lacklustre. Became more interested in the ins and outs of the business and shoots/autobiographies.

08 to 11 - Come back into the business along with Jericho and CM Punk, as well as Edge, Christian, Jeff Hardy and Randy Orton. The idea of Jericho, Punk and Edge being gone doesn't fill me with hope for the immediate future but I do like Sin Cara, Del Rio, R-Truth and even John Cena is winning me over.

Early 90s (I don't remember if I watched wrestling before that) - I remember watching Rick Rude wearing those crazy pants and kissing ladies and I liked the Ultimate Warrior. When he defeated Hulkamania it was an awesome moment.

I also became a fan of Surfer Sting and Bret Hart and watched those two for most of their career.

1996-2001, 2003 - WCW became my favorite when the NWO invaded and grew and it marked the creation of the Crow Sting but at the same time I watched The Rock start out as "The Blue Chip Rocky Maivia" and slowly become The Rock. I was hooked on him at that point but when he left I kind of stopped watching. I only watched the times when The Rock came back.

2003-2006 - I stopped watching. I think I heard some wrestling news and tried to search for it online for more info and that's how I found TPWW. I started watching again but then I stopped again for a few years. I wasn't really around for Evolution, or Randy becoming the youngest Champ or Benoit and Eddie becoming champs at the same time. It was a good time between The Rock era and the Cena era and I kind of wished I didn't miss it.

2007-2010 - Stopped watching.

2010 - Present - At this point I kind of watched Raw here and there and all of sudden Bret Hart comes back to the WWE. I'm starting to wean off wrestling but I know The Rock will be at WM so I'm hanging on until then but I feel like once The Rock is gone again I will probably gradually stop watching.

1997: I wanted a wrestling game for my N64, so I got WCW/nWo World Tour. Started watching WCW because of that. Really liked Scott Steiner, Ultimo Dragon and Chris Benoit in the game, so I started paying attention to them in WCW too. Still kept watching WWF.

1998 - 2001: Was so into wrestling that I actually tried to become a wrestler at one point. The fed was a joke though, and I ended up doing commentaries instead.

2001 - 2004: Stopped wrestling/commentating, but started writing columns for different sites (including this one).

2005 - Present: Reverted back to being a casual fan.

Late 1980's-1992: Was a huge wrestling fan as a kid, my favorites were the Ultimate Warrior and Bret Hart. Hated Hogan. Even as an 8 year old kid I hated how he won all the time (ironic when you think about the 8 year old Cena fans today).

Since we never had Sky TV I couldn't watch at home, had to rely on watching at my aunt's house, or videotapes of PPVs and shit. The last event I saw was the 1992 Royal Rumble, and I still remember in primary (elementary in the US?) school everyone being furious that Ric Flair won it, the cheating bastard. I never got to see wrestling again for 7 years.

1998-2001: As much as I loved the golden era of the early 90's as a kid, I think the Attitude era was my favorite, just about. We finally got Sky TV in December '98, and the first RAW I watched was the one where Steve Austin and Kane put Paul Bearer in a sewer, and Austin hit Undertaker with a shovel. Instantly became a fan of DX (mostly the New Age Outlaws) and hated the Corporation, I think by mid/late 1999 I actually realised how wrestling really works, and began to like more heels as a result.

There were quite a few of my high school/college friends who were big into wrestling around 1999-2001 and we pretty much watched all the PPVs together and having wrestling matches of our own, probably the most fun 'era' for me personally.

2002-present: It's hard to break the last 9 years up into smaller eras for me, as wrestling has slowly been on the decline for a while now, in my eyes. I didn't like the brand split, hated the RAW/SD-only PPVs, thought WWECW was shit, and had probably one or two markout moments a year. The past 1-2 years though have sorta been a resurgence though, as I watch RAW religiously now and have gotten quite a few of my friends into it too. CM Punk has pretty much become my favorite wrestler over the past 12 months, and I have an unhealthy obsession with Zack Ryder also.

have pretty much been 'obsessed' with pro wrestling since like 1989-1990, have only ever not watched when I haven't had access/been able to. Started to pretty much take over my life July 2006 through November 2009, 'fell out' with wrestling/became quite 'disillusioned' with it for good reason, TPWW was pretty much my only link to the wrestling world for a while outside of guys I saw socially that were still involved. Have been 'coming around' to it again over the last 6/8 months, still don't really watch the shows outside of some segments/matches/promos on Youtube etc and PPVs.

DLVH84 Samurai Rocker Posts: 2,876	1988-1991 Started discovering pro wrestling, through CWA live shows in Germany...Watched WWF Superstars Of Wrestling (plus Saturday Night's Main Events, The Main Events, and Pay-Per-Views) on the Armed Forces Network. 1991-1996 Upon returning to America in October 1991, started noticing WCW and New Japan Pro Wrestling, plus various indies like GWF, SMW, and USWA. 1996-2002 Started noticing ECW in June 1996...And watched all 3 promotions, plus more Japanese promotions like FMW and AJPW...When ECW and WCW shut down, I watched WWF for a while, and it got boring, which was why I stopped watching WWF/E as often as I did. 2002-present Started noticing other promotions like WWA, ROH, and TNA...Watched WWE occassionally, mainly SmackDown!, as it was more wrestling-oriented...Began watching wrestling from various countries outside of America, which I enjoyed very much.

Mostly WWE, but I still follow TNA and ROH and various other Indys (mainly Chikara). Back in the day, I was all into WWF and WCW, and I watched ECW a lot but not always, wasn't so easy to view in the UK, and this was before the internet was in full swing that it was so easy to get results etc. And always supported/went to local events/companies. Wrestled for some of them too! Back in 2003/2004 there was a huge surge of small wrestling companies around where I live, so it was a pretty exciting time to be a wrestler back then.

LK It's Clobbering Time! Posts: 5,337	94 to 97 - Watched it sporadically, mainly for the Undertaker. For WM 12, I was looking more forward to Diesel and Undertaker than the Iron Man match. Had no idea of WCW or ECW. 98 to 03 - Watched WWE religiously, wasn't aware of where I could watch WCW or ECW. Loved wrestling through this time as most of us did. Without a doubt, the peak of the industry what with Austin, DX, Taker and Kane, Jericho, the Radicals and the tag teams like E&C, the Hardyz and the Dudleyz. 04 to 07 - Fell out with it as the lack of competition became evident. Would watch it every now and again but the quality was incredibly lacklustre. Became more interested in the ins and outs of the business and shoots/autobiographies. 08 to 11 - Come back into the business along with Jericho and CM Punk, as well as Edge, Christian, Jeff Hardy and Randy Orton. The idea of Jericho, Punk and Edge being gone doesn't fill me with hope for the immediate future but I do like Sin Cara, Del Rio, R-Truth and even John Cena is winning me over.

Jura ▬▬ஜ۩۞۩ஜ▬▬ Posts: 16,011	Early 90s (I don't remember if I watched wrestling before that) - I remember watching Rick Rude wearing those crazy pants and kissing ladies and I liked the Ultimate Warrior. When he defeated Hulkamania it was an awesome moment. I also became a fan of Surfer Sting and Bret Hart and watched those two for most of their career. 1996-2001, 2003 - WCW became my favorite when the NWO invaded and grew and it marked the creation of the Crow Sting but at the same time I watched The Rock start out as "The Blue Chip Rocky Maivia" and slowly become The Rock. I was hooked on him at that point but when he left I kind of stopped watching. I only watched the times when The Rock came back. 2003-2006 - I stopped watching. I think I heard some wrestling news and tried to search for it online for more info and that's how I found TPWW. I started watching again but then I stopped again for a few years. I wasn't really around for Evolution, or Randy becoming the youngest Champ or Benoit and Eddie becoming champs at the same time. It was a good time between The Rock era and the Cena era and I kind of wished I didn't miss it. 2007-2010 - Stopped watching. 2010 - Present - At this point I kind of watched Raw here and there and all of sudden Bret Hart comes back to the WWE. I'm starting to wean off wrestling but I know The Rock will be at WM so I'm hanging on until then but I feel like once The Rock is gone again I will probably gradually stop watching.

Then I switched allegiance. Was also into Shawn Michaels a lot. 1997: I wanted a wrestling game for my N64, so I got WCW/nWo World Tour. Started watching WCW because of that. Really liked Scott Steiner, Ultimo Dragon and Chris Benoit in the game, so I started paying attention to them in WCW too. Still kept watching WWF. 1998 - 2001: Was so into wrestling that I actually tried to become a wrestler at one point. The fed was a joke though, and I ended up doing commentaries instead. 2001 - 2004: Stopped wrestling/commentating, but started writing columns for different sites (including this one). 2005 - Present: Reverted back to being a casual fan.

Even as an 8 year old kid I hated how he won all the time (ironic when you think about the 8 year old Cena fans today). Since we never had Sky TV I couldn't watch at home, had to rely on watching at my aunt's house, or videotapes of PPVs and shit. The last event I saw was the 1992 Royal Rumble, and I still remember in primary (elementary in the US?) school everyone being furious that Ric Flair won it, the cheating bastard. I never got to see wrestling again for 7 years. 1998-2001: As much as I loved the golden era of the early 90's as a kid, I think the Attitude era was my favorite, just about. We finally got Sky TV in December '98, and the first RAW I watched was the one where Steve Austin and Kane put Paul Bearer in a sewer, and Austin hit Undertaker with a shovel. Instantly became a fan of DX (mostly the New Age Outlaws) and hated the Corporation, I think by mid/late 1999 I actually realised how wrestling really works, and began to like more heels as a result. There were quite a few of my high school/college friends who were big into wrestling around 1999-2001 and we pretty much watched all the PPVs together and having wrestling matches of our own, probably the most fun 'era' for me personally. 2002-present: It's hard to break the last 9 years up into smaller eras for me, as wrestling has slowly been on the decline for a while now, in my eyes. I didn't like the brand split, hated the RAW/SD-only PPVs, thought WWECW was shit, and had probably one or two markout moments a year. The past 1-2 years though have sorta been a resurgence though, as I watch RAW religiously now and have gotten quite a few of my friends into it too. CM Punk has pretty much become my favorite wrestler over the past 12 months, and I have an unhealthy obsession with Zack Ryder also.

Started to pretty much take over my life July 2006 through November 2009, 'fell out' with wrestling/became quite 'disillusioned' with it for good reason, TPWW was pretty much my only link to the wrestling world for a while outside of guys I saw socially that were still involved. Have been 'coming around' to it again over the last 6/8 months, still don't really watch the shows outside of some segments/matches/promos on Youtube etc and PPVs.
