Booker T, The Heel (SPOILERS)

Let me start off by saying, I like it.

This time, Booker is acting more like a heel, than a punk.

When Booker was first "heel", he wasn't really such...just a wrestler made to look cowardly, weak, and derivative, just because he happened to be WCW's champ. The only good thing about all of this, is that because of the "imitating The Rock" angle, Booker T was able to keep his Book End finisher from WCW.

Now, as a former RAW wrestler very disappointed with having been traded to the lesser show, Booker T is a heel that evokes memories of the NFL player Terrell Owens with his off-the-field theatrics. The thing though, is that Booker isn't necessarily revamping his character. He's acting out of a mean streak, spite, and so on ...but he's still The Book.

I especially liked the fact that he seemed quite confident in what he was going to do to the Undertaker at the PPV (we all know this is a squash waiting to happen) when interviewed...

...and on the latest Smackdown, when the Gong of Doom sounded after his match, Booker didn't flinch, or run. He actually had a look on his face that said... "This is so so lame." His message to Undertaker was brief, and to the point. The cheapshot was a nice touch. All in all, I like that Booker didn't run until he saw that hitting Undertaker with the urn didn't affect Taker at all.

This is the beginning of a strong anti-fan-favorite run for Booker, I feel, even if he gets squashed by Undertaker.

If he goes on a Rock-esque rant about how he doesn't buy the whole "Deadman" shtick at the PPV, this is going to be extremely golden.

What do you all think?

I don't see why'd they have undertaker squash him seeing as though he's only working part time. I think Booker T will pull the tights or It'll come down to just a choke slam. See as though thats more logical Undertaker will squash him.

I got a feeling Taker will lose.

With Mordecai talking about the Day of Judgment, I think thats setting the stage for Book to get a cheesy win over Taker. I figure, Taker comes in, Book tries to run, gets a little offence, then starts to get squashes, then Mordecai's music hits, he steals the urn from Bearor, lays out Taker with his finish, Book gets the cheesy win and goes on to GAB to face Eddie for the title.

Thyen again, maybe they'll go with the house show formula and Taker will win in 3 minutes.

I'm pretty sure Booker is going over Taker, albeit in a dusty finish. Like Cynick said, Mordecai is going to interfere.

Booker has to be built up, because after Judgment Day, Eddie will feud with him, and that has to look like a good matchup for the fans (it already is for me). A good three or four month feud between the two of them can be gold.

BLaZeR- does not have that much rep yet (10+)
Yeah Mordecai should make his debut and cost 'Taker the match, but hopefully the match is booked to make Booker T look strong and able to go toe to toe with 'Taker then get the cheesy win instead of him getting squashed the whole match then picking up the cheesy win because the fans would more than likely see it as a fluke and not take him seriously.
