Forgive me, some years I wasn't watching so it contains blurs and no real comments

Don't tell me that I did this thread already, because I didn't. It's all XL's fault anyways.

10. 2005- Was watching religiously here, but there was too much Super Cena coupled with a lackluster Batista run on Smackdown! Too much long winded JBL promos. Tired of the babyface champ (Cena) vs. the authority heel (Bischoff) formula. The Smackdown! theme was awful. Only good thing about this year I remember was Carlito beating Cena in his debut match for the US Title.

9. 2006- Too much Super Cena again but now with a PG_style DX. And The Spirit Squad was a waste.

8. 2007- WWECW, whole 3 brand thing was not well executed. Lashley as ECW Champ was terrible.

7. 2008- Blur, I remember this year being meh. Only thing that stands out from this year was the Benoit massacre. Marcus Cor Von. Jonathan Coachman.

6. 2009- So so. Another blur, but I remember this to be the year that alot changed. It was odd seeing "THE FUTURE" right before my very eyes. PPV names changed dramatically, and there were lots of new stars getting exposure. CM Punk was on the come up as a heel. The new HD sets were the norm. I barely watched though since I was busy doing other things around this time. I remember back in 2006, people on here were clamoring for the most anticipated encounter between Cena and Orton. But then it happened alot in this year and I'm pretty sure people got tired of it. Fail.

5. 2004- Best thing about this year was Evolution, Eugene, and The Rock showing up on RAW here and there.

4. 2003- Finally...The Heel Rock...has come back! Evolution was good. Goldberg, Scott Steiner, Brock Lesnar vs. Kurt Angle was in full effect. Smackdown! was the hottest it's been in forever. Best part of this year was the emergence of The Dr. of Thuganomics (heel only please)

3. 2001- This transition period post Attitude Era, left me curious to see how they would handle the WCW buy-out. Even if the InVasion failed, it was truly the next era to witness since the Attitude Era was officially laid to rest the night after WrestleMania X7.

2. 2002- The nWo was what I was dying to see here, but it was letdown. Oh well. The spring and summer of 2002 was one of the best times for me to watch as a fan, mainly because I was always smoking mad chronic everyday, I wasn't working and I was done school. Brock Lesnar was the man. He brought the heel persona back to life again just by his presence alone. The Rock was in the midst of a comeback. I liked Flair as 50% owner. RAW had a brand new look. BookerDust was the goods. I always thought they were ten times better than Rock N' Sock. Also, Eric Bischoff shocked the world by showing up on RAW. The transition that started in 2001 was finally coming together as one cohesive unit. Smackdown was shaping up nicely. Steph was also hot as SD! GM.

1. 2000- WWE had to stay on it's toes this year, since there was still competition, so you always got entertaining TV. You always got the best WWE had to offer. They weren't "lazy" with the writing. The Radicalz debuted. The Rock was in his absolute PRIME. Triple H was the big heel alongside his new and fresh DX look. You had to be home for every episode of RAW and SD! The mega babyface chasing the dominant heel champion was a good formula during this time. This was also during the time where the internet and backstage news wasn't spoiling things for me. I was a mark.

Too tired to put too much thought into this right now. Best is either 2002 or 2003, worst is definitely 2007.

2008 wasn't that bad. Jericho was World Champ and feuding with HBK

Greatest year for rasslin for me was 2002 bc I went to Rasslemania and saw the rock rassle hogan in one of the best matches WM history. Any year that I'm going to rasslin is a good year bc I want rassle! Went to WM twenty three and twenny fo 2.

I'm almost POSITIVE you have done this thread before.

Also, whatever year had Bradshaw pre-JBL as one of the top faces on Raw was the worst ever.

I can't remember exactly what happened each year, and therefore, I can't rank them, BUT, I CAN and WILL say that 2002 was my favorite.

In 2002 we saw Hogan, Nash and Hall return to the WWE as the NWO...we saw the return of HBK to the ring...we saw the rise of Brock Lesnar, culminating in him becoming WWE Champion...we saw Big Poppa Pump make his return to the WWE...Eric Bischoff shocked us all and became WWE RAW GM...

...and I'm sure a lot of other things...

...so 2002 was the best.

This was tough to rank, but I just played a bit of word(s) association with each year and what angles/PPVs stuck out.

2008: Taker/Edge; HBK/Y2J; CM Punk; Great PPVs each month with the exception of one or two
2005: Fresh Cena & Batista; HBK/Hogan was fun; Matt Hardy angle; Orton/Taker
2009: CM Punk/Jeff Hardy; Orton; Taker/HBK; Summerslam
2002: Brand Extension; Great PPVs; Hogan/Rock; Summerslam
2001: WrestleMania 17; Invasion led to some great matches
2000: Kurt Angle; Royal Rumble; Summerslam; TLC; Armageddon HIAC
2007: Injury bitten year; Lashley/ECW was weak; Undertaker/Batista; Orton/Cena at Summerslam
2003: Great Mania but that's about it here; Some weak PPVs
2004: Benoit/Eddie moment; Really weak PPVs for the most part though
2006: Cena/Batista running wild; Lashley's forced push; Edge/RVD were bright spots though

I'm sure I'd rank it differently if I was asked all over again, but yeah. I tried.

'03 - '05 my interest was minimal and I would only flip it on every couple of months. 2000 - 2002 I was watching every week and loving every minute of it. Once HHH started going over everyone and the whole Katie Vick thing happened it took me a long time to regain any consistent interest in the product. I didn't really get back into it until WM thru ONS '06 and didn't start watching every week again until about late '08 early '09.
