Kurt Angle DUI
I took two years of police foundations(in Canada) and this makes no sense to me;
– As expected, there is major heat within TNA on World Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle for his DUI arrest over the weekend in Virginia. Since the incident, Angle hasn’t wrote anything on Twitter except that he was headed to the premiere of “Warrior” this morning. Angle’s arrest on Sunday came after he was spotted swerving between lanes by another driver on 1-66 East near Linden, Virginia. Virginia State Troopers responded to the call and arrested Angle, taking him to the Warren County Jail where he posted $2,000 bond and was released at 3:31am. Angle was driving a rental car at the time and it was towed to a local impound lot. This isn’t confirmed by law enforcement yet but we exclusively reported that Angle was also texting while driving and reportedly only blew a .06, just below the legal limit. Nonetheless, law enforcement didn’t think it was safe for him to drive and took him to jail + impounded his car. I can understand them feeling he can't drive and has to toe his car, even a reckless driving for the texting but, but how on earth can he be charged for being UNDER the limit? make him toe the car back too the rent-a-car place and take a taxi home, or arrest him for something ells. Can they just arrest you if they see fit based on their own discrettion down there? |
