Question Anyone familiar with Thrice?
Probably my favorite band of all time (And the name to one of their songs is my name on this forum).

I am just wondering how popular they are, because if they are it's certainly not from radio or television play or charts. I've never heard them anywhere but the internet or albums I have bought, honestly.

Any other Thrice fans out there? Favorite songs/albums?

Thrice is too good.

The first album I heard was of course Identity Crisis. Very underrated band in my opinion.

Was a big fan of The Artist In The Ambulance and Vheissu. It's been steadily downhill from there though. Beggars was awful. Just listened to Major/Minor and it was pretty disappointing too.

I have noticed people tend to think of Vheissu as the hinge. People either say everything after Vheissu has been terrible, or everything before Vheissu was bad. Not sure why Vheissu is the hinge there.

In my opinion, Thrice has been great start to current. However, I do think Vheissu was when they first became 'stand-out' good and I personally have liked each album since progressively more than the last.

Just got to sink my fangs into major/minor this week and am also loving it.

The Alchemy Index releases are nicely varied. Some very good songs on them.

I feel like the Alchemy Index could've been their best work if it was cut down to one album instead of 4 EPs. Too much bloat.
