Worms
I'm thinking of picking up a worms game, Had worms 2 when I was younger for any fans out there which is the best one to get now?

It depends. If you want a good 2D game, I think Armageddon is the best of that bunch. If you want 3D, get Worms Ultimate Mayhem. It's Worms 3 and 4 in one game.

It's out on the 360 now (I've got it and enjoying it) and on PS3 "Q4 2011", according to Wikipedia.

My only issue with WUM is that there isn't enough soundbanks for the Worms. You can buy more at the ingame store using ingame credits but it's still only a handful. I'm sure this was intentional to release voice/costume packs as DLC.

You can customise your Worms look with hats/hair, eyewear, gloves and facial hair. If you select something for your Worm to wear and press left or right on the dpad, you get alternate version of it like an afro becomes a mohawk, a baseball cap will turn backwards etc so there are a few options there.
Plus you can make your own team weapon.

I remember the good old High School Worms days..... all of my friends were terroble except for one, and he trained us..... such a simple concept and yet Worms is great for hours of fun.....

they have worms in 3d? hmmm never knew that, dont know how that would work. My friend had Armageddon on PS but it was terrible on there.

It actually works quite well. It's still the same turn based game but now you have 3 dimensions to move around in.

I prefer the 3D games.

Remember playing Worms 2 with two of my friends, drinking vodka from the early hours.

Was a lot of fun throwing them off chairs when it was their move.

I can, pretty sure 1997 games are like the most recent ones that would work on my PC.
