Might miss the opening segment. Got Daddy duty with the kids for Halloween from 6-8. I'm expecting hilarious segments and good wrestling. Can't wait to hear my daughter say "Are you serious?" when she sees the muppets on tonight. Might teach her to say "Are you serious BRO?" for laughs.

The Sesame Street puppets are indeed Muppets, and were under Henson banner until Disney bought the Henson company out.

So they are, technically, Muppets, by any definition. You can argue the post-buyout puppets not being Muppets, but anything pre-buyout is a Muppet. So none of the Sesame Street characters will appear tonight because they're not owned by Disney.

For the record, I only know this because PWInsider's audio revolved heavily around Muppets this past week.

So they are, technically, Muppets, by any definition. You can argue the post-buyout puppets not being Muppets, but anything pre-buyout is a Muppet. So none of the Sesame Street characters will appear tonight because they're not owned by Disney.

For the record, I only know this because PWInsider's audio revolved heavily around Muppets this past week.
LOL, talk about your splitting hairs. But obviously you know more about the Muppets than I would ever care to...have a friend who's in his 30's and still likes them. Nothing wrong with that I guess, I just never got into it that much despite plenty of SS watching as a kid.

Heard rumors flying around about possibility of a couple of whichever Muppets are there tonight showing up ringside for J.R. vs. Cole in the "Michael Cole Challenge Match"...just remembered how basically Statler and Waldorf were the 2 guys I did like because they always criticized everything, play-by-play style from their little balcony or whatever.
