Who do you think will get the next shot against Edgar??

As of right now, with Siver, Jim Miller, and Guilliard all losing, it should be the winner of Guida vs Henderson..

Melendez is already fighting Masvidal and Nate Diaz and Cerrone are fighting..

So what should happen after these fights??

I'd say:

-give the next shot to the winner of Benson/Guida

-let the winners of Diaz/Cerrone and Melendez/Masvidal fight for the number one contender spot

So what do you guys think??

The winner of Henderson/Guida should definitely be #1 contender, BUT if Gilbert finishes Masvidal quickly and is relatively unscathed I can see him leapfrogging those guys and getting the first shot.

I think the winner of Cerrone/Diaz will likely fight the winner of Lauzon/Pettis and whoever comes out of that combo would be third in line after Melendez and the winner of Hendo/Guida.

If they go with the winner of Hendo/Guida before Melendez, then I think Melendez would fight Cerrone if Cowboy beats Diaz or the winner of Lauzon/Pettis. I don't see Nate fighting Gilbert though unless it's a #1 contender or title fight type deal and Nate still needs a few wins before he can be considered a contender for the title.

This division is fun as hell matchup wise. With Maynard and Guillard both coming off losses, seeing those two guys scrap would be awesome.
