Best all round player in the NBA?
Who can do the most things the best? Always a good way to look at it, because it takes away guys who are dominant in only one area, and guys able to use physical advantages to dominate certain areas.
For mine, it's Kevin Garnett in a canter, he can do it all. Dirk Nowitski would be up there, and Jason Kidd does well all round considering he's 8 inches shorter than those two. "I love players who love to win. And not just during the 90 minutes on the pitch. Players have to love to win every day, in every training session, in every moment of their life." -Jose Mourinho |

I'd say KG also. The guy can seriously play every position but the 2 guard. He scores, rebounds, and dishes with the best of them.

Mark Madsen is actually the man. I used to hate him but I am glad he is on the Timberwolves now.
As for Davis, yeah he is playing out of his mind right now and is rated the best player in the league by Yahoo! Fantasy, but once Mashburn gets back he wont take as many shots and slow down a little. To answer the question though, especially this year I would have to say Kevin Garnett. He gets "Barbara Walter's" all the time (The T-Wolves play by play term for 20 points 20 rebounds). I would rather have a big guy who can score, pass, and rebound than a point guard, and I dont like Duncan. |

Garnett
I wouldnt really consider Dirk all arounder..although he does more rebounds now then he did before he still plays really soft. |

Dirk is a textbook Euro trash big man. He cant play scrapy under the basket, he is more of a shooter than anything else.

Yeah that's true, KG is more of an inside presence than Dirk, but Dirk is better from the three.

Dirk is the best basketball player since John Paxon.
