What was WWF Jakked?

We never had it in the UK, only had Heat and Metal. Couldn't get a definitive answer from Wikipedia. Was it the same as Metal except a Saturday late night version?

Pretty much. Showed recaps and a few jobber matches IIRC.

Jakked was like Shotgun, but on syndication on Saturday late night.

Yeah figured so. I was just wondering if it was exactly the same as Metal or whether it had different matches or what. Now I think of it I remember we had both Metal and Superstars, which were identical except the matches were on in different order on either show. Weird.

Didn't Jakked use some of the matches from the other jobber shows, or vice versa? Or kinda what Team Sheep just said about Metal and Superstars?

Jakked/Metal were the same program they just had different intros and the match order varied slightly if at all it's basically what Superstars is now only before the brand split.

Lol that was so weird. On Jakked the main event would be Mideon vs Droz, and on Metal it'd be the opening match.

That too it was usually Kevin Kelly/Tom Pritchard on Metal and Jonathan Coachman/Michael Hayes on Jakked.

The whole thing was fucking retarded. I would love to have heard their programming department at the time explain how the fuck that setup made any sense.

The same was also with "Shotgun" and "Shotgun Saturday Night." So stupid.

All those old, weekend shows bring back the memories. Anybody else remember BottomLine, or how about The WWE Experience, or how about even Confidential, hosted by "Mean" Gene Okerlund?

Confidential was a cool show i'd always watch it right after Velocity on Friday nights when WWE programming was still on Spike TV good times.
