Corkscrewed's SmackDOWN! Positives [12-18-2003]

Another addition of what I liked this week on SmackDOWN!

Crowd reaction
After Heyman's announcent of the tag match between Holly/Moore and Morgan/A-Train, you could distinctly hear some guy yell, "That's not fair!!!" Later on, after the Noble/Mysterio match, as Noble was consoling Nidia, you could hear everyone going, "He's lying!"

So much for audience censorship, eh? Pretty funny, tho, in a stupid way.

Fatal 4-Way Tag Titles Match
This was great, with people tagging each other at random and really showing the wild, unpredictable nature of such a match. The result was a very exciting match where the winner was really never for certain until the very end.

Match highlight was Los Guerreros setting the Bashams up for a double Stinkface, then tagging Rikishi in (after being in Stinkface position themselves earler). WGTT then interjects themselves as if to defend their fellow heels. Then guy look at each other as if to say, "Wait a moment, what the heck are we doing trying to stop this?" They step aside, signalling, "Hey, go ahead," and Rikishi gives the Bashams a double Stinkface.

Rhyno on TV
'Nuff said.

Shannon Moore
Beginning to see the reason for the squashes now? Shannon is being pushed as the resilient guy who gets beat up but doesn't give up. That's some major courage and guts displayed by the youngster, and hopefully it translates into a nice Cruiserweight push in the end.

SmackDown sucked last night. Way too much filler. The Lesnar/Moore match was kinda cool, and it's good to see Benoit still winning matches I guess. The tag team title match was good, but everything else was pretty forgettable.
