New Poster Introduction Thread
I see there are quite a few new faces gracing the great wrestling forum in the TPWW Universe. This seems to happen around the WrestleMania season, so I emplore anyone who has signed up within the last month or so to stop in here and say "hey". I'm sure the regulars will make you feel right at home.

I'm not necessarily new, but what the hell...

1. When did you start watching professional wrestling? I was about 5 years old. The first PPV I can remember watching was SummerSlam '91. I believe that was the one featuring Bret Hart vs Mr. Perfect for the Intercontinental title. Then a few years later, I stopped watching when I found out it was fake. I then started watching again in '98. The infamous King of the Ring PPV. I was instantly hooked again. Then I stopped once WCW went out of business. And I have been watching fairly regularly since '07.

2. Who is your favorite all-time wrestler? I'd have to say Sting. He was my favorite growing up, and I just hope he has enough sense to bounce from TNA soon. Honestly, my favorites can change from time to time. But if I had to narrow it down, I guess it'd be Sting.


3. What is your favorite all-time match? It's hard to narrow it down to just one match. But I'd say Punk vs Cena at MITB. Macho Man vs Steamboat and WMIII just to name a couple.

4. What is your favorite all-time tag team? Probably The Outsiders.

5. Mean Street Posse or Kronik? MSP all day.

6. What is your favorite current promotion? WWE, way anxious to see how Punk and Jericho goes.

7. What is your favorite promotion that has since closed its doors? WCW, I miss it more and more every day.

8. Who is your favorite all-time authority figure? Vince McMahon. His stuff with Austin back in the attitude era was gold.

9. Who is your favorite "Diva"? Assuming this is strictly WWE? Kharma. I just saw Tamina for the first time the other night and I was a bit surprised with what she came out with.

1. When did you start watching professional wrestling? When I was a little kid, so about 1986

2. Who is your favorite all-time wrestler? HBK probably if i have to pick just oen

3. What is your favorite all-time match? Honestly probably HBK/HHH in a Hell In a Cell in Columbus, Ohio because I was 6 rows back and it blew my mind how good it was

4. What is your favorite all-time tag team? This is a hard one. I'd have to go with the Legion of Doom for sheer badassness

Joined the forums a long time back, only to lurk around for the longest time. Born in 1987, and an Indian. Anyway, here goes:

1. When did you start watching professional wrestling?
Around 1993 / 1994. We didn't get cable till around 1996, so the first few years were spent watching any tape that my local video rental guy had (and he had mostly WWF ones). Didn't understand much of what happened, but i was legit scared by the Undertaker, and a mark for Bret Hart (still am).

2. Who is your favorite all-time wrestler?
Bret Hart. Hands down.

3. What is your favorite all-time match?
I can't single out one match here.

4. What is your favorite all-time tag team?
Toss up between the Legion of Doom, the Hart Foundation, and Jericho / Show.

5. Mean Street Posse or Kronik?
KroniK. Dug the theme. Never got in to the Posse.

6. What is your favorite current promotion?
WWE.

7. What is your favorite promotion that has since closed its doors?
WCW.

8. Who is your favorite all-time authority figure?
Vincent Kennedy McMahon.

Late-1997 I started to watch here and there with my sister. Started tuning in regularly in 1998.

I have many, but Kane will always be number one.

Also, I like answering questions

1. When did you start watching professional wrestling?
When I was about 6-7-8 one of those, it was a little while before the tragic death of Owen Hart. Sad times.

2. Who is your favorite all-time wrestler?
On any given day I'd tell you it's Punk but as I was growing up it was always Austin.

3. What is your favorite all-time match?
My absolute favorite match had to have been Rock/Austin 3 at WrestleMania XIX. On March 29th I begged for a ticket to the only WM to ever come to my hometown of Seattle and somehow the next day I was there, seeing my favorite wrestler's very last match. It was a big moment and I'll never forget it.

4. What is your favorite all-time tag team?
Growing up, it was the Hardyz, but I was a youngen. Lately, I was fond of Punk and Kofi when they were tag champs.

5. Mean Street Posse or Kronik?
Mean Street Posse

6. What is your favorite current promotion?
WWE

7. What is your favorite promotion that has since closed its doors?
I don't really know. I kinda hated WCW growing up so really I don't have one.

8. Who is your favorite all-time authority figure?
Favorite authority figure is always gonna be Vince. You look at a superstar and say they've done it all. Vince has REALLY done it all.

Currently, AJ and Natalya =]

-I watched when I was a kid from about 1980-1991 what was on regular TV. Then I didn't see anything for quite a while until about the time that Goldberg was just starting in WCW and HBK and Stone Cold were going to WM, I think about '98
2. Who is your favorite all-time wrestler?
-This has changed through out my life. I grew up as a kid with the Hulkster and NWA's bleach blond Sting. Then it evolved into HHH and now probably CM Punk and Jericho.
3. What is your favorite all-time match?
-Really don't know about this one, probably Macho Man and Steamboat in WM3
4. What is your favorite all-time tag team?
-The Road Warriors when they were badasses in the AWA and NWA
5. Mean Street Posse or Kronik?
-Kronik due to the fact that i ABSOLUTELY HATED THE MSP....seriously people liked them?

I watched wrestling on and off as a kid in the early 90's, only because family members were watching it, so it was just always sort of on in the background to me, but I knew what was going on and who everyone was, but I didn't start watching it "religiously" until 1997.

2. Who is your favorite all-time wrestler?

Chris Jericho.

3. What is your favorite all-time match?

This is a hard one. I want to say The Undertaker vs Shawn Micheals - WrestleMania XXV, but I feel like I might only be saying that because it's the most recent out of all of my favourites. I'll come back to this one later.

I loved the team of Edge & Jericho but they never really took off. But I'd say Edge & Christian.

I was never really a fan of any other promotions other than the WWF back in the day. I hated WCW as a kid, purely because it was the WWF's rival, so I guess "none" will be my answer to that.
