I won't hold it against Tajiri that he uses some of Muta's stuff, because Muta wasn't the originator of his gimmick either.

But even if they were nothing alike, I'd still go for Muta.

I remember seeing some Muta in WCW. Pretty similar to Tajiri.

I think Tajiri's facial expressions and mannerisms puts him over the top for me, though.

Honestly, I can only think of a couple of names not in the HoF that I would vote over Tajiri.

Voted for Muta due to his contributions and accomplishments as well as being one of a very small handful of Japanese wrestlers to have big success outside of Japan.

In terms of watching actual matches, I've seen a lot more of Tajiri's matches and only caught a few of Muta's matches while he was with WCW. I view Muta similar to Andre the Giant where I only saw his matches near the end of his career but his accomplishments were strong enough to counter that problem.
