Went with Muta. Booker is the goods but I feel like Muta is just a notch higher than Booker.

Booker T! One of my top five of all time! I was a huge mark for him in the WCW days, both in Harlem Heat and as a singles guy, then when he came over to WWE we got to see more of a heel side to him, both serious and goofy.
The guy is the goods and in my opinion one of the most 'underated legends' of wrestling. And his announcing today is quality. Regardless of whether it's legitimately good or so awful it's hilarious, it's entertaining. |

To anyone not familiar with Japan, this is an obvious Booker T vote.

Considering Hogan, Savage, and Harlem Heat are what got me into wrestling when I was 4 years old, I have to go with Booker T. As many gimmicks as he's been able to pull off over the years, and quite well I might add, he gets my vote hands down. Granted Muta is no slouch by any means, I'll always be a huge mark for Booker T.

I'm glad that you, as a black man, had strong black role models to look up to growing up.

Yeah, between Harlem Heat, Carlton Banks, Winston Zeddimore, Warren Moon, and Police Academy's Michael Winslow, I'd say I had some real positive influential role models as a kid.

Booker's had a pretty good career. Anybody who can go from being GI Bro to a 5-TIMEx5 champion deserves credit.

I chose booker. Booker's matches especially singles matches were better for me, plus I only liked mutas feud against sting. I couldnt get into more than a few of his matches with other people, sadly

Was easier in previous match-ups to go with Muta due to the lack of stuff I've seen with his opponents or their work couldn't match up with Muta's accomplishments but in Booker T's case, I've seen a ton of his stuff.
Liked his stuff in WCW with Harlem Heat and when he had his singles period with the company. He had a lot of interesting moments and matches and felt WCW should have used him a lot more than Jarrett as the focus of late era WCW. His King Bookah character was some of the best stuff he's done and he was pretty entertaining with Goldust as a tag team wrestler. Wrestling-wise, he was pretty good in the ring and had a lot of great matches. |

Booker isn't very good. He had some okay matches in WCW, but he's mostly just comedy. Muta is a fucking LEGEND.

I respect Muta but I only care about American wrestling. Muta didn't do as much as The Booker Man in America. So, I've gotta go with Booker T.
Japanese wrestling was soured for me because I watched some really hardcore shit. It was a piranha tank match. The fans seemed to enjoy the shit out of it, so they must be real fucking dirt bags over there. |

Booker T is the most enduring WCW talent there is, and he keeps me entertained to this day in the ring and on commentary.
Mutoh was fantastic in the ring especially in the early 90s but I really didn't like him in his last WCW run, nor am I all that familiar with AJPW. |

Booker T is a solid dude. He can cut a promo, he can wrestle, and he has charisma. He's a really big star, he's just out shined by a lot of bigger stars during his time.
There's a reason the WWE keeps him around. |
