It's being rumored Chief Jay Strongbow has passed

Sad to hear of the passing this morning of WWE HOF’er Chief Jay Strongbow, a beloved member of WWE family. RIP Chief.

He was originally known as the italian Joe Scarpa which is his real name but is perhaps best known as Chief Jay Strongbow










Bill Savage went over to the (Stu Hart) house and one of the Hart kids was running around with his hair wet. Savage asked why his hair was wet. Stu said, "the little bast--d broke a vase this morning, so I stuck his head in the toilet. Want me to show you again?"

He was one of greatest wrestlers from the 1960s and 1970s. My father grew up watching him wrestle. At least he and Chief Wahoo McDaniel can pass the peace pipe in heaven.

Point being, if Stone Cold died they would do it about "Stone Cold" and not "Stunning" Steve. Both were successful and high profile gimmicks in different companies, but one was clearly more successful and well-known around the wrestling world.
