I kind of want to see Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H

I think this could be an absolutely huge match for the WWE. It doesn't quite feel like "WrestleMania" or anything like that, but it would make an amazing PPV main event sometime over the coming months. Imagine this:

At Extreme Rules, Brock destroys Cena. Basically give them ten minutes where they fight around the outside, and Cena gets some shorts in, sure, but the story is Lesnar asserting his dominance over the WWE's franchise player. Lesnar catches Cena with an F5, but instead of pinning Cena, he picks him up and nails him with a second F5. Then a third. Even Michael Cole is begging it to end from commentary. Lesnar then applies the Brock Lock to an unconscious John Cena, and the referee calls for the bell and awards the submission victory to Lesnar, who is none too impressed with the match ending (he wants to kill Cena some more). So Brock continues his assault on Cena, but Zack Ryder runs out and hits the ring as the Chicago crowd presumably goes crazy. Ryder nails Lesnar with with right hands, but then gets absolutely destroyed by Lesnar as well. It is now that referees, medics and security are out to prevent Lesnar from doing any more damage.

After the PPV, WWE.com releases an article which states that Ryder has challenged Brock Lesnar to a match on RAW. Show a video with Ryder being looked over by medical staff and Ryder saying that he'll be wearing green Cenation gear when he faces Lesnar on RAW. Zack doesn't think he can win, but Brock Lesnar overstepped some lines with his friend tonight, and Zack's not about to let that slide. Brock talks about how "legit" he is, but he was so "legit" that he walked away after two years when Zack's been here on the road for five years trying to make a mark.

On RAW, they show clips of the damage Brock Lesnar did to John Cena, and give us a medical update on Cena and inform us that he'll be out for a couple of weeks. Zack Ryder cuts an impassioned interview with Matt Striker backstage where he basically reiterates his reason to challenging Brock Lesnar, even though it seems like suicide. You take opportunities in this business. You can perhaps even have Edge backstage and wish Ryder luck before his match, and then have Ryder leave the dressing room to find a bunch of WWE Superstars in the hallway applauding him.

But Brock kills Zack (of course). The referee rings the bell and Brock just gets in Zack's face and says "You're gonna die." Zack then slaps Brock in the face and then Brock takes Ryder down and just lays into him with rights and elbows. Lesnar then tosses Zack out of the ring and says "This is mine!" Zack keeps trying to get back in the ring, but Brock keeps knocking him off the apron. Zack keeps trying, though. Eventually, Brock goes outside and tosses Zack around out there. They do the old F5 into the ring post spot, and Zack sells as if he is seriously injured. Brock then takes Zack into the ring and hits all his signature spots -- maybe even his old triple powerbomb could make an appearance. Brock finds the hard-camera and looks into it and says "Is this your guy, Cena?" before he picks up Zack and nails him with an F5. Then a second. Michael Cole gets all somber and says "Not this again." Brock then nails a third F5 and then puts Ryder in a mock-version of John Cena's STF (Brock could call it the "Death Clutch," or something like that). The referee calls for the bell, and Brock is awarded a second match via submission.

Brock is not done, and looks to continue his assault, but the entire babyface roster (and some heels, as well) pours out of the back and gets in the ring as Lesnar just sort of leaves the ring -- not afraid, but not about to fight so many guys at once. RAW ends with Brock admiring his handy work as everyone checks on Zack Ryder.

The next week on RAW, Brock Lesnar and John Laurinaitis are in the ring, and Brock has some demands for Johnny Ace. Triple H's music hits, however, and out comes suit-wearing Trips. The Game gets in the ring and dismisses John Laurinaitis. Triple H tells Brock that he's not going to demand anything any more. Brock has taken out two of the WWE's top merchandise sellers in as many days. Now he wants more money, his name attached to the title of the show, and all these other privileges, and that makes him sick. Triple H spent years and years clawing his way up the ladder in this industry, and he made this his life. He literally married into the McMahon family and has poured so much of himself into this company that he's going to inherit it. He's not about to let Brock Lesnar destroy it. He's not about to let Brock Lesnar destroy everything. Triple H announces that he'll be Brock Lesnar's next opponent, and he's going to beat Brock, and he's going to then watch as Brock tucks his tail between his legs and goes home again.

Brock just smiles.

Stephanie McMahon is on RAW the following week, and she begs Triple H not to take the match against Brock Lesnar. Through Stephanie we find out that Triple H is not medically cleared after Hell in a Cell at WrestleMania, and that she wants him to step aside. "You're a father now." Triple H says he needs to do this, as Stephanie McMahon looks concerned.

Brock Lesnar ups the ante a little bit, though. He comes out to give Triple H a little history lesson. It's not just about how dominant he is, either. Brock takes us about to just after SummerSlam 2002, when he signed an exclusive contract with SmackDown! and took the WWE Championship there with him. It was the biggest signing for SmackDown! up to that point, and it was an important career move for Stephanie McMahon -- one that she desperately needed to try and put Eric Bischoff out of business. Also, at this point in time, Brock informs us that Triple H was a little...confused. His strongest friendship with Shawn Michaels had turned on its head, and Triple H was having...marital difficulties. When Stephanie McMahon approached Brock Lesnar requesting he sign exclusively with SmackDown! -- Brock agreed. She offered a lot of things to get Brock to sign exclusively with SmackDown!. Brock then implies he took her up on those offers.

Triple H loses his shit and heads down the ramp looking to kick Lesnar's ass right there and then. Security pours out of the back to keep them separate, though. John Laurinaitis is out and tells them that they need to wait until Over the Limit before they fight. Security is holding Triple H back, as he is pretty much frothing at the mouth. Brock gets right in Triple H's face and then tells him "All you want to do is kill me, huh? But at Over the Limit, I'm going to take everything you have and leave it in a pool of its own blood."

You know that would be an epic feud. You don't really need the part where it's implied that Brock Lesnar and Stephanie McMahon slept together back in 2002, but it would really add a different dimension to the feud. It'd just come down to whether Triple H, Stephanie McMahon and Brock Lesnar felt comfortable with that sort of story progression.

Why doesn't Triple H and Brock feel like WrestleMania? I could see that happening. I know I've been waiting for this match for like 10 years.

Nobody wants to see that. Now, Cody Rhodes vs Goldust, that's a match everyone wants to see.

I actually really like this. Unfortunately, I don't think WWE could pull this type of writing or feud off this effectively anymore. They'd probably start the feud/writing strong, fuck it up and finish weak, or vice versa.

Noid, I don't always love your fantasy bookings but this is a fantastic story. Everything about it would be absolutely perfect to continue Brock's story of his return. And I actually like Brock using the Steph line as a way to get inside the head of Triple H.

Maybe since Triple H is not medically cleared, Johnny Ace even won't let him compete at the PPV, so they decide to make it an "UNSANCTIONED MATCH".

Cool post.

Like this idea but in the meantime Lesnar should face CM Punk first and win the WWE Championship and hold the belt until he faces Trips at perhaps Summerslam and within that time also have Ryder win MITB and pick up the pieces after their match after totally destroying one another that way Brock wouldn't necessarily lose much credibility in the process.

There will be people who won't like this, and think it's markish, but in my mind, Triple H was "killed off" at Wrestlemania. It is two Wrestlemania's in a row that he has lost and 3 in total to the Undertaker. Maybe that is why you feel that way Noid? For me, he has taken himself out of the big matches at Mania. If he can't beat Taker, why would I be interested in seeing him face Lesnar?

The big money match is obviously Taker vs Brock if you are going to go in that direction. I love Brock, one of my favourites of all time, but am starting to get worried about key players geting buried by stars that won't be around a few years into the future. I know Cena has his dissenters, but I don't see how he recovers from what happened in your scenario, especially after the loss at Mania.

Would rather Brock go after Punk or someone else who could benefit more.

Could even start widening the rift more between Laurinaitis and Lesnar so that Lesnar is made into the biggest threat to the WWE and Laurinaitis starts to play nice with former enemies to help get rid of the threat. Sort of similar to what was done with the Nexus but with a better payoff in the end.

We all waited a long time for that match to happen, I hope it does occur soon, once and for all.

Before I see any more of Brock Lesnar, I want someone to take the microphone away from this guy. Get Paul H. back to talk for this guy, because he sounds like a giant retard.

I say use Noid's idea of Lesnar destroying Cena at Extreme Rules and Ryder on RAW the following night, but keep Cena off TV for a bunch of months, and then as you said, Lesnar should face Punk and win the WWE Championship, either at No Way Out or Money In The Bank. Lesnar defends the title against Triple-H at SummerSlam and retains. Right before Survivor Series, Cena returns to take Lesnar out. That show will sell some buys.

This is a good idea, but then what?

Lesnar needs to look strong going into WrestleMania if his match is going to be billed as the top draw on the card. If he's going into Mania to face The Rock, he can't have suffered a loss to Cena because that takes away part of the hype: Rock already beat Cena, Cena beat Lesnar, Rock's going to beat Lesnar. It's possible that they could have Cena beat Lesnar before Mania and still have Brock look strong, but after his first loss he's going to be looked at as having lost his steam.

Right now he's on fire. After he beats Cena silly at Extreme Rules, he's going to be even bigger. They need to keep this going all the way into Mania. Make him the big time heel that WWE has lacked for so, so, so many years. Lesnar is capable of being that guy, but they can't beat him until Mania.

I say keep him strong going into WrestleMania 29, maybe even put the WWE Championship on him (although the thought of Brock going over Punk kills me inside). He goes on to face Taker or Rock at Mania, and loses, and then goes away again.

I like the idea of Brock facing Rock and losing at Mania, and then Cena beating Rock sometime over the next year to regain his spot as the #1 guy in the WWE.

I think building Brock up as the number one heel in the company is the way to go, but does anyone else find it a waste to have Brock drop the belt to Rock? I was thinking having Punk chasing Brock into and going over at Mania.

At some point, Punk is gonna have to drop the belt. Doing so to Lesnar at, say Summer Slam, and building him back up over the fall and into Mania is how it should go.

I think that they can wait a while before they immediately jump into Brock vs. Punk. The WWE can have Brock keep busy destroying people on his way up for a little bit, while Punk can have some matches lower on PPV cards against Christian and even Lord Tensai. Lesnar can have that match I mentioned against Triple H and then one against Randy Orton (the youngest WWE Champion of all-time against the younger World Heavyweight Champion of all-time). Hell, Brock could even go after Sheamus before he does Punk, and Lesnar wins the World Heavyweight Title and then goes to unify the titles as one of his "demands."

I'd be totally fine with the SummerSlam main event being Punk vs. Lesnar with both titles on the line.

Brock as dual champ would a bit mucj, imo, and it would kill SmackDown'sain event scene. Id rater just have Brock head into a fued with someone lie Orton or another upper midcarder, then get fed Punk.
