What is your favorite instrument effect?
A question to all you musicians out there mainly guitarists and bassists.....

What are your favorite effects that you use or would like to use?

Mine is an envelope filter on my bass. If you wanna know what one sounds like listen to Sir Psycho Sexy by the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

That would go to the golden throat, a vocal filter to be used with any instrument, basically. You play your instrument through the golden throat with the tube in your mouth, and the sound plays through the tube into your mouth. Throw in the microphone and you got some nifty voice alteration going on there, keed.
