It's a decent gimmick, but he shouldn't be anywhere NEAR the main-events. Ever. He should just be used to put over up-and-coming faces.

I agree with that, He's not a decent enough wrestler to be in a Main-Event Situation. He's good for putting over Up and comers.

They've done a good job getting him over, but its hard to get past that its Bradshaw. Who knows maybe they'll surprise everyone and tear it down at Judgment Day.

Belongs in the upper mid-card and should go there after Eddie beats him. He's a great character, but his wrestling skills are subpar, which is his major flaw. I actually think the gimmick itself is very good, though.

I really don't mind it cause they're lacking in heels on SmackDown! and it's a character almost reflective of the Million Dollar Man. If it flops, well, at least they tried something. The thing is, would it mean more if Eddie beats John Bradshaw Layfield, a much more threatening individual who's been built up and on a tear, or just plain ol' Bradshaw, the loser, mid-card tag team guy. It's probably just another Hardcore Holly thing where they're just building up a guy so the champ can beat but of course, I could be wrong.

The last time Bradshaw done anything decent was the PPV where the APA had a invitational bar brawl, Bradshaw won, Matt Hardy took 2 goes to put someone through a table, and it took 20 wrestlers to put Bradshaw over in that one.

As for JBL and the main event?
He should make like an old photo and fade!

If Bradshaw beats Eddie for the title at Judgment day, then I will lose alot of faith in the WWE. Why push Eddie (and Benoit for that matter) if there going to lose the titles to someone like Bradshaw.

Also, Eddie goes over angle at Wrestlemania 20, then loses to BRADSHAW at Judgment Day.....I think not (and hope not)

Still seems strange that at the beginning of the year Bradshaw was the first elimination in the Royal Rumble now his Main eventing.

Admitingly he plays his character very well... If only he had the Wrestling skills as well then i think he would be an excellent addition.

Oh well.. He'll be back on velocity when JD's All over

I love his gimmick, and the storyline he is in with Eddie does make me laugh, but he is an utterly crap wrestler, and should be kept miles away from the main event.

Personally, I think the gimmick suits him a lot, but pushing him like this when he isn't even all that over is stupid.

Notice how he has not wrestled one match? Because the WWE knows he ****ing sucks and would lose all heat and credibility had the fans seen him wrestle. He's got a great gimmick and has been given a good push. So maybe he can pull out a good match. And even if he can't, I'm confident that Guerrero will make him look like a star.

Honestly, I think Bradshaw gets a lot of extra crap around here because people don't like the guys politics. He's nowhere near a great wrestler and shouldn't be main eventing, but he's a better worker than Hardcore Holly and has garnered the most heat of any heel on SD since Angle. I'm going to reserve my final judgment for after seeing the PPV, but in my perfect world he'd be putting over Cena at Judgment day, and Eddie would be feuding with a heel RVD.

Bradshaw shouldn't be main eventing? You're damn straight he shouldn't.
Better worker than Hardcore Holly? Dude, that's hardly a justification to continue living! Holly 'Sucks Ass (c) ' and should've been canned long ago!
Bradshaw has garnered the most heat of any heel since Angle?
Kurt has only been out for 2 weeks! Lesnar got more heat because he was leaving, and if Booker T had been drafted a few weeks earlier, then he would get more heat than bradshit. Plus WWE isn't exactly flooding Smackdown with competition against him, are they?

R V D
In my perfect world, it'd be Eddie v RVD, and Cena would be going up against Dupree, and JBL would be in his limo, moving down the east coast towards his retirement home, having just signed his 'I'll never darken your door again, WWE' contract.

A five-minute spot on the news once a week gets you a main event at a PPV?
If that's the case I'm gonna get on RAW and boot Vince, JR and HHH in the nuts, get arrested, claim to be Madonna's love-child, and be having an affair with Jennifer Aniston, get in the papers, on the news for more time than Bradshaw, get back in touch with Vince and demand to headline WMXXI.

JBL isn't just given a bum rap because of his politics.

In addition to his politics, he also has professed a hatred for internet fans, he's a shit worker, and he's been shoved down our throats in the past and it's repeating in the present.

Better than Hardcore Holly is a big accomplishment...Ignoring the fact that even Zack Gowen was a better worker...
