I blame all of you who voted against whiteyford in KoTMF.

Anyhow, please use this thread to answer the following questions for me, and to give me a better insight to you.

1. Favourite Wrestler of all time: Shawn Michaels... with Ricky Steamboat at #2.

2. Favourite Tag Team: Probably The Steiner Brothers all time. Currently? I guess The Usos? Not exactly many options.

3. Favourite Wrestling City: Philadelphia, Pa

4. Favourite Entrance Music: Hulk Hogan's Real American music is the best.

5. Most Over-Rated Wrestler: So many different ways to gauge how someone is "rated". By the business, by the internet, by wrestling ability, etc. I currently find Cody Rhodes to be pretty over-rated. But I think that's just because internet fans' standards are so low that seemingly everyone's a potential word champ.

6. Least Favourite World Champion (WCW,WWF/E, TNA): David Arquette

7. All time favourite moment: I will go with... HBK beating Bret at WrestleMania 12.

Just by your own opinion. I mean you may personally believe CM Punk is over-rated as performer. Could be something minor that bugs you, or lots of things. There's no right or wrong answer, it's about your feeling towards someone, regardless of what others think.

Chris Jericho.

Up until around 2009, I'd have said Chris Benoit, with Jericho as a very close second. But after the way Benoit's career ended, and how Jericho really "stepped up" during his second run, it's hard not to put Jericho in first place. Plus, Jericho does a lot more to generally get "out there". He has Fozzy, his books, he's been in some crappy movies, a game show host, plus all the countless media appearances he does. The guy is simply "The Man".

2. Favourite Tag Team

Hmm... pretty tough one this. Most tag teams don't really stick around long enough to like them, and some of the more obvious ones were a long time ago that it's hard to really remember much about them. I think the team I liked more than any other (at least, at the time) was Chris Benoit and Dean Malenko when they were members of The Four Horsemen, so I guess there's my answer; Benoit & Malenko.

3. Favourite Wrestling City

Philadelphia, I guess.

4. Favourite Entrance Music

As a song I personally like, I have no idea. As a song that makes great entrance music though, probably gonna go with Killswitch Engage's "This Fire Burns". Was perfectly suited to CM Punk, and is a really pumped up tune to hear live.

5. Most Over-Rated Wrestler

Hulk Hogan.

6. Least Favourite World Champion (WCW, WWF/E, TNA)

The Great Khali.

I logically know that my second favorite wrestler (Chris Jericho) is better in just about every area that makes a wrestler great. However, there is something to be said about your first time and when everything was new to you. When I first started liking wrestling in the very early 90s I primarily watched NWA/WCW. As a young kid I rooted for the babyfaces and two of the biggest at that time was Sting and Brian Pillman. What sealed the deal for me was the Brian Pillman was always the small guy, the underdog so I had to be a fan of his because he was the underdog. Since that time he evolved as a wrestler turning heel and becoming a "Loose Cannon" and he changed along with me as I went from a kid liking babyfaces to a teenager that liked renegade heels. Also, Brian Pillman better be my favorite wrestler since being a fan of his saddled me with the Cincinnati Bengals as my favorite NFL team.


2. Favorite Tag Team

The Hollywood Blondes
Not only because this tag team has my favorite wrestler of all time in it but because they just worked so damn well together. The only regret is that these two were really only a tag team for a year. It was because of this team that I became a fan of Steve Austin and when he showed up in the WWF as "The Ringmaster" I always hoped he would make it big... I wonder if that worked out. Also one of my favorite moments in the 'Attitude Era' was when Austin attacked and broke the leg of Pillman as well as breaking into Pillman's house. It was just great to see the Blondes fighting it out in the WWF.


3. Favorite Wrestling City

New York City, New York
I'm from Long Island, so I'm biased. I've been a part of New York City crowds, so I'm biased. However, I'm trying to look at it objectively but... I'm biased. Sure New York may be smarky and obnoxious from time to time. Sure we may be kind of dicks, but one thing we never are is silent. We always make our voices be heard. New York City has made great events greater with our enthusiasm as well as our utter emersion into each and every event. Chris Benoit's Wrestlemania XX wouldn't have been nearly as epic without New York City and Rob Van Dam/John Cena would not have been nearly as fun if it weren't for the jam packed Hammerstein Ballroom. And now it is a wrestling meme but we were the first wrestling city to threaten riot if our guy didn't win.


4. Favorite Entrance Music

"The Final Countdown" by Europe (Bryan Danielson's Theme
I'm a nerd. I'm at peace with that. For a large majority of people they were look at "The Final Contdown" as a lame 80s song. Some of you might think of Arrested Development and Gob dancing around doing magic when they hear this song. But for those of us that got to see "The Best in the World" live in ROH we all can't help but think of Danielson standing on the second turn buckle with his index finger in the air streamers engulfing him as the crowd shouts "It's the Final Countdown!" I once quipped that Europe never got the reaction to that sound that Danielson did, and I stand by that statement. This song is lame and silly, but Bryan Danielson turned it into an anthem.


5. Most Over-Rated Wrestler

The Miz
I can only base "Most Over-Rated" on who is overrated on this site or the internet as a whole. The Miz started out as "Poochie" that everyone hated and thought was annoying. Then he slowly won over the crowd until finally he headlined Wrestlermania. For that he should be given a ton of respect, he earned a spot in the main event at Wrestlemania the old fashion way, not by being pushed down our throats but by winning over the crowd. That all being said, he's overrated because he did all of that by flat out ripping off Chris Jericho. I've been saying this even before Jericho said it on twitter or even cut that promo in the ring about The Miz being a "Jericho Wannabe." He is a poor man's Jericho, he's not a top star like everyone seems to think he is, that's why he's overrate.


6. Least Favorite World Champion (WCW,WWF/E, TNA)

Batista
When you're a power wrestler it would really help if you were strong. Unfortunatly for Batista he's not really strong. I was first turned off by him when he would wrestle undercard matches and he wouldn't even be able to pick guys up into the powerbomb, but thats not even the worst of it. With the notable exception of his last 4 or 5 months in the WWE Batsita had the awful snarling promo style that was neither interesting nor did it heighten the stories he was involved in. You couple that with the fact that his ring work has not improved since 2005 which shows that he doesn't even care enough to get any better at what he does. That lack of effort makes him my least favorite World Champion of All Time. There have been worse in the ring, worse on the mic than Batista but no one has combined those two lack of qualities and spun it into a long run on top of a wrestling company than Batista.

Chris Jericho Becoming the First Ever Undisputed Champion
For one reason or another I tend to find myself being a fan of wrestlers that never seem to become one of the faces of the company. This has been the case for the whole time that I've been a wrestling fan. That's why when Chris Jericho, my second favorite wrestler of all-time, became the First Ever Undisputed Champion not only was I shocked but I was elated. He beat The Rock and Steve Austin in the same night and held up both belts for all the world to see. For that one shining moment he was at the very top of the WWE and he had achieved something that no other wrestler had ever achieved. It was great to see.

Stone Cold Steve Austin, it's fuckin glass breaking followed by uncensored violence to the ears. Awesome.

5. Most Over-Rated Wrestler

Really tough question because to be over rated you have to be highly rated... so with that list of legends like HBK, Bret, Rock, Shawn, Hogan, Flair, Taker etc.... it's tough because nobody rates Hogan too high, everyone knows what he can do and can't....

I guess Sin Cara... he was so highly rated coming from Mexico but he really sucks.

6. Least Favourite World Champion (WCW,WWF/E, TNA)

Jeff Jarrett, his world title run in WCW put the nail in the coffin when it came to WWF fans flipping to WCW, not David Arquette.

Love all the Philly love, but why? Never understood why WWE doesn't have any of the big PPVs take place in Philly. All we have gotten recently is Night of Champions and soon to be Hell in a Cell.

1) "Superstar IV" Doug Basham (in OVW gimmick)

5) Bret Hart (especially when he returned and wasn't allowed by Llyods of London to take bumps; should have stayed out of the ring other than with Vince)
6) Vince McMahon (took his sham reign too seriously, in contrast to Russo or Arquette)
7) ECW wrestlers uniting in a (then-WWF) ring to take on the Superstars! -- As long as I block out the sham merging of WCW with ECW under the "Alliance" banner and the control by Shane and Stephanie, UGH!
