Why do female wrestling personalities enter the ring between the bottom and middle ropes, and how did that start?

Yup skirts probably started it and I assume it's become sort of a custom like wiping your boots before entering the ring or something.

no not skirts, next to all ladies workers from yester year wore singlets. Women wrestlers are shorter. plus its simply more feminine.
