Is it really a good idea for WWE to rely on children for their ratings?

Think about this... these kids probably only watch the show for John Cena, and could give a shit less about the rest of it, let alone, probably don't even understand what's going on during the show outside of Cena doing his 5 moves of doom if that. What happens when John Cena disappears, like a life-threatening injury that eventually forces him to retire? Will the kids stay to watch the remainder of the show they don't get? Wait for Brodus's match to come up? Or are they gonna turn Punk into... into... this?

If they have a backup plan for this scenario, what would it be?
