I think I KINDA liked HBK before he turned face. I remember when Sid turned on him I got excited about the potential face turn. I don't remember actually rooting for him when he was a heel though.
The first heel that I was really 100% behind was Austin when he started feuding with Bret. Mainly because I was a huge HBK mark and became anti-Bret and thus loved Austin. |

For me it was probably Undertaker.
When I was a kid, I remember seeing him destroy Hulk Hogan, and trap Ultimate Warrior in a coffin, and I knew their intention was for me to boo him, but I was loving every second of his stuff. Of course I was a little kid, and I thought that he really was destroying Hulkamania and banishing Ultimate Warrior forever. If I think about after I smartened up and was wise to the whole thing, it would probably be Vince Mcmahon during his feud with Steve Austin. I was never a big Stone Cold fan anyway, but during that time Vince was hilarious and fun to watch, mostly because we never got to see that side of him until that point. When I watched RAW at that time, I knew Stone Cold would curse and raise hell, etc...but I was more interested in seeing what kind of corporate abuse of power Vince was going to unleash, or what he was going to do once Austin got his hands on him. |

Easy one, Macho King Randy Savage. When he was feuding with the warrior I wanted him to beat him. Oooooh Yeah!

With me cheering a abd guy was extentions of my loyalty. For example I loved Owen Hart, and when he went heel in 1994 I stayed liking him out of loyalty.
I stopped watching for a bit, started watching again because of The Rock in late 1998, when he turned heel at Deadly Game. I stuck with him because he was already one of my favourites. |

Actually, when I think about it, I'm now sure it was actually Chris Jericho that was the first heel that I liked.
I remember I disliked Undertaker a some points during his feud with Austin, because I loved Austin so much. But as I was a "WWF guy" back when I was a kid, I never watched WCW, so I wasn't familiar with Chris Jericho at all. So when he debuted and interupted The Rock, I remember immediately thinking "Wow, that guy is so cool!". I loved his promo, his name and his look, and I just thought he was a really awesome guy, but he was bad guy. I then began liking him more and more and enjoying his matches and pretty much every promo he did. I also thought his insane fashion sense was amazing. Chris Jericho would later go on to become my favourite wrestler ever. ![]() |

Million Dollar Man, Repo Man, and Heel Tatanka are also worthy of mention.

Hollywood Hogan. This was way back when we only got WCW in Poland and the internet wasn't so common. I knew nothing about WWF.
And it wasn't like I liked him being a heel, I just loved Hogan, I wanted him to be cheered. But he was a heel back then. Then, we got WWF (in German) on DSF and I loved The Rock. |

Can't remember exactly who would be my first but its probably Razor Ramon considering I liked him before he showed up on WCW and the eventual formation of the NwO.
He's the earliest I can think of since the original NwO, Hollywood Hogan, The Rock, original DX, and Stone Cold were all liked after him. Jericho became my most liked heel once the nWo became stale in routine. |

I have no idea. There were probably some as a kid. I want to say The Million Dollar Man and IRS (Money Inc). Maybe Ric Flair or Macho Man/King.
When I actually got "hardcore" into watching wrestling.... maybe Mankind. Though I think I was always rooting for Taker, so maybe not. I loved Bret Hart as a "heel", but won't count him since he was still a Face in most of the world. |

I'm the same as Cool King with Jericho. Didn't see much of his WCW run but loved him when he came to WWE, even if (I think) he was feuding briefly with Road Dogg when he came in and I loved Road Dogg.

Not trying to discredit Jericho's post-WCW work because he did some awesome stuff, but WCW is when I marked the hardest.

HBK for sure...he just would look so cool coming out to that cool theme song and his entrance and everything. One of my early favorite matches was him defeating the Bulldog on FOX i think it was for the IC belt.

Mine was Eddie Guerrero when he was running the LWO in WCW.
I was definitely a full on mark back then and loved the good guys and hated the bad guys - I was also a die-hard WCW fan and hated the "evil, lame" WWF. And as much as I loved Kidman and Rey Mysterio, there was something really fun about Eddie's tirades against WCW and his rallying of his fellow latinos that got me on his side. I loved the LWO and wanted Mysterio to join them. He was also the best worker in the company and even as a mark I respected how great he was in the ring. |
