WWE SmackDown! ***SPOILERS*** (airs 10/12)
WWE Smackdown spoilers: Randy Orton returns for revenge

WWE OCTOBER 10, 2012 BY: SHAWN S. LEALOS

The WWE pre-taped their WWE Smackdown episode on Oct. 9 as the company continues to build towards Hell in a Cell at the end of October. Here are the spoilers from the event, which will air on Oct. 12.

The event opens with JBL coming out to do commentary with Josh Mathews and it looks like Michael Cole is not here for the event.

The card opens with a big match between Sheamus and Tensai, retaliation for Tensai attacking the world champion on WWE Monday Night Raw. Sheamus won a quick match with the Brogue Kick.

In the next match, the new stable of Heath Slater, Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre came out to the ring and the tag team of Slater and Mahal beat Santino Marella and Zack Ryder when Slater pinned Ryder.

One half of the tag team champions, Kane, beat Dolph Zigger by disqualification when Ziggler hit Kane with his Money in the Bank briefcase. Ziggler attacked again after the match, but Daniel Bryan ran in for the save, only to start arguing with Kane again.

In the next match, The Big Show beat Kofi Kingston in a short match, a slight surprise since it looked as if Kingston was getting a nice push. After the match, The Miz continued their feud by talking smack to Kingston.

Sin Cara beat Damien Sandow by pinfall in a singles match. The two face again in a tag team match for the No. 1 contenders spot to the WWE tag team titles next week on WWE Monday Night Raw.

In the main event, Alberto Del Rio beat Daniel Bryan by submission. After the match, Randy Orton came down to the ring and he and Del Rio battled, finishing with Orton hitting the RKO on Ricardo Rodriguez through the announcer's table to end the show.
